Grinding is the worst idea ever integrated into a game... I would much rather have fun. |

They did well, I'm glad the game's turning out to be more than just trash.
But yeah, I'm still iffy with the video, I just wish more UI was shown. Past that, as long as the beta shows up and plays well, I could give a shit less.
I'm really glad it all came out well, so far.
*EDIT* Me lucky stars be gone! Noes way! ------------------------------- |

Agreed. Remember, Tasos assured us that without a doubt, DFO will launch this year. December 31 is rapidly approaching.
So you saying if issue arise when betas starts they should delay and release a buggy game ok LMAO if you want that go play AOC |

Not at all. I'm saying they should stick to DFO and not get side tracked with the Game Conference. They don't need any excuse or distractions. They are good at coming up with their own. Do you honestly think if they get side tracked launch will happen this year?
Fear not fanbois, we are not trolls, let's take off your tin foil hat and learn what VAPORWARE is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vaporware "Vaporware is a term used to describe a software or hardware product that is announced by a developer well in advance of release, but which then fails to emerge after having well exceeded the period of development time that was initially claimed or would normally be expected for the development cycle of a similar product." |

i really wish i could make it to greece to check out DF. I think its fantastic that they are gonna show it at ESWC as i think that playerbase is a great market for DF. The new screens look really nice and its good to know how much the game can scale graphics wise. Having the game run good on a myriad of systems is key to DF's success and Adventurine has wisely shown they are aware of that. Overall an awsome update and hopefully we see a lot of fan coverage from Greece. |

Its going to be a month until Athens digital week starts ,but this event does coincide with AVE’s statement about beta potentially starting during October. http://www.athensdigitalweek.gr/el/the-core/areas/gaming Google Translation: Greek » English GAMING Counter-Strike, Warcraft 3 DotA, Call of Duty 4, Counter-Strike Source, Trackmania, Quake, PES 2008, FIFA 2008 and our favorite consoles, all located in Athens Digital Week!
Continue to visit us to learn how to join you! And for those who take the gaming more seriously, the second Games Developers Conference held in Talk Zone, with more than 20 presentations of new games that have been or are being developed proposals for the creation of association and possible cooperation by all groups in a common project. So perhaps Darkfall will be presented at this event, and it will be demonstrated to the public and the press with a playable version, and perhaps this will coincide with the start of the public beta, or perhaps it wont, only a month to wait until we find out. |

SOUND THE TRUMPETS! Darkfall has released and it is groundbreaking! About Aventurine SA: Aventurine SA is an independent computer games developer located in Athens, Greece. The company is fueled by passion for gaming and game technologies, which motivates and guides all activities. Aventurine’s main project is Darkfall Online, a groundbreaking game launched in 2008 But seriously...these guys either have a fantastic game, or are setting themselves up. (again) A week long event in October? When for the first time, during Oct, they will invite the public to play on their servers in beta? I guess we will see if this is a bold move, or a retarded one, soon enough. |
