Today we present five new screenshots from Lord of the Rings Online which depict Khazad-dum, the once great Dwarven city, which is now a goblin infested hive deep in the Mines of Moria.

See the rest of the images here.

 Hmmm...the mobs appear pretty pixellated.

They told me I'd never survive, but survive was my middle name.

The quality of those screens are pretty bad. In-Game everything's extremely detailed.

Playing: Age of Conan, Aion: Tower of Eternity.

Waiting For: Guild Wars 2, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Age of Conan: Rise of the Godslayer

I hope so.  Maybe I just pictured it all wrong when I read the books, and Peter Jackson got it all wrong in the movies, but those screenshots do not feel like Moria at all.  Particularly the lighting looks all wrong.

Peter Jackson definetly got it all wrong. But better to be quiet about it or people will stone you to death for that heretic opinion.

REALITY CHECK

Khazad-dum is the dwarven name for Moria

But looking at the screenshots, according to Turbine it is some place _inside_ Moria, full of lava and bridges. There's not even a hint about Moria's former glory on these screenshots
