Once I got through the jaws of GOA the game played really smoothly. Sure, there were a few bugs here and there but actually nothing you wouldn't expect from a game that's been live for AT LEAST A YEAR. Yes, it is amazingly bug-free for a fresh new game, not to mention a beta. The bugs I encountered were all cosmetical - occasional issues with mob zoning, looting UI scrambled but very very rarely etc. Nothing major by any means. Not one crash in 6hrs playing unless you count those 15 minutes they took all servers off line for some reason (it IS a beta you know). What rig are you using man? What's wrong with you? |

I understand your frustration with GOA and related issues but OP and others really need to understand is there is a difference between Mythic and GOA. Just because you have account issues and registration issues and problems like that with GOA, it does not make the beta bad or the game bad. So from now on when you want to comment on the status of the game, comment on the game and not GOA. GOA may be bad but the game is good. |

Anyone with a big hosting company around? Europe needs dedicated game servers! I think only NCsoft Europe, Blizzard (if they do their own hosting in Europe that is) have decent servers. Lotro's servers (hosted by Codemasters) crash when 120 people fight each other. They can't host events, for the exact same reason (lithe festival in 2007, anyone?). They have a great customer service though! Nevertheless, only big companies who can aford to buy their own servers in every continent of the world (except antartica of course!), and usually in multiple regions (Western- Eastern- Northern, etc.). Which gets expensive, really expensive. So they go for companies which are located in Europe... And end up with GOA / CM etc. The good news is however, game companies depend on communities. If communities don't like a certain company (in this case GOA), they will have to get fired, before they take WAR down with them. You know it, the best way to realize your dreams is waking up and start moving, never lose hope and always keep up. |

Ive only CTD 2 times in 14 hours of gameplay. The only but I've ran into is Can't attack target. I hope they get that fixed soon. |

While everyone is entitled to their opinion of course, I would suggest you seriously check your computer for spyware/adware, viruses, etc. because you are reporting problems that few people are having apparently. The bugs I've come across are mostly dealing with monster pathing, ie. 'unattackable', retreating and getting full health, etc. I have yet to suffer a CTD and I've been in the CB for some time now. I also had a weird bug last night where corpses wouldn't sparkle and quest icons wouldn't show above NPC heads, but relogging fixed it. Performance has been fine, stability fine and gameplay have been fine. |

I had that problem with a different game, but I had a crappy card. I had an ATI 1300 256mb, went with Nvidia 8600GTS 512mb and it solved that problem. hehe Aaaah! Where are all the good mmo's!? |

besides lotro...i think this is one of the smoothest (US) beta's in a long time. Other than the annoying cannot attack target which still occurs once in a while....its very stable. I think lotro might have had a better beta, so i would have to put this in at #2

I like when people are critical of others who are not 100% bug hunting and actually playing. This isnt closed beta, you go bug hunt, ill stress test the servers by playing and having fun. But yeah this is a pretty smooth beta, considering the HUGE amount of content involved. so far the worst problem ive seen are a few PQ glitches and some "target unavailable" while still attacking you bugs. Im pretty sure that mythic was well aware of these problems befroe open beta. Oh and i found an "image not available" for a shop items icon (reported it as im sure 10000 people did as well) no latency issues, no major glitches involving combat or gameplay. Ive seen much much worse. Also they are not constantly adding new things, so no new bugs from them adding left out content. |

Wow, I really can't believe you have had this experience with Warhammer beta. I have been involved in 8 beta games now and I have to say that Warhammer is by far the best. Once you get past the first few levels the game experience is fantastic. This holds out much promise for the launch in a few weeks. I think the game is first rate. |
