It wouldn't surprise me to see funcom pull off some miracle patch for this game.. It almost seems like their patches are on purpose to manipulate the stock price so when it falls low enough, company employee's and their families can buy in low and watch this miracle patch bring the game back to life.. I thinks its a huge gamble though, theres way too many people pissed off with this company right now so I hope they haven't swindled/manipulated things to this type of thinking.. all for profit/greed... But i could see it happening.. Todays economy is tanking an having an effect but it was tanking no worse prior to this game launching imo so using that as an excuse is ridiculous imo.. |

LOL down to 9.29 and still falling. The best thing for everyone right now is for this POS to go under, go bankrupt and be sold to someone, anyone else. How in the hell Gaute still has his job as Game Director of this fiasco is beyond me. Must have nekkid pictures of somebody.
And there is no such thing as miracle patches. Just because they got lucky once, and don't know how, thus they called it the miracle patch. I've never seen game management this bad in all my life. From launch til now has been an absolute debacle. They get what they deserve. |

I am still shocked at how fast the stock is going down with no new news to speak of. Sometimes investors are slow to react and that's fair (and we still see that...volume is low). What i'm shocked at is how uninformed investors (a large portion) are not biting at the tempting prices. Quite literally NO one is buying this stock. But hey, once they broke through that $13 barrier and people started losing money on their investment...the fall can be quick. I can't imagine this not evening out for a few months (or even bumping back up).

Showing $9.40 down 1.98% this morning. Nothing like a hot cup of coffee and dropping Funcom stock to start the morning. |

Originally posted by gamer2108 It is the first thing I check too. Hilarious. As much as I have wanted them to fail lately, I am starting to feel bad because Age of Conan had some amazing things going for it. And we really need MMOs to put pressure on WoW... |

Wanting hundreds of people who are just trying to do their job, and potentially doing their dream job, to loose their jobs, Means there is something wrong with you. Especially considering that in the grand scheme of things, funcom has done nothing but released an unfinished MMO, just like they all are. You guys are comparing this game and its developers to the like of true scams (Dark and light, Wish, countless others), when they are not even close. I chalk this up to inexperience in the genre. Many people here can’t separate their personal tastes VS. The label of “Crap”, Conan was never to be all things to all people, it is really OK for it just to be not your thing, and move on. I hope karma comes back to you, because we all know how brave people are when it comes to anonymity on the internets. Even Mythic has gotten a share of this, with the EU release, and the death threats, many of you are simply unreasonable people protected/empowered by the anonymity of a user name. It is very sad the Lengths this campaign has gone.
