It's only for Europe, not sure they ever gave a toss about us to begin with. This is why WAR will not compete.

Please specify. WAR has not failed. GOA has issues and is creating issues for EU players. There is a HUGE difference. WAR as a game is a great game and I enjoy it a lot.

I am sorry for the experiences with GOA but please do associate their mishandling of the game with the game itself. The two are not directly linked. The game can be great and GOA can be horrible. The opposite is true as well.

 

I can't speak to any issues you may be having in Europe, but I can say that I am having a blast in WAR over here in the US and that the game itself is very fun and is certainly not on a par with Vanguard.

Good luck overseas though, hopefully they work out these GOA issues before the game launches . Keep in mind that you are still in a BETA and the issues you guys seem to be having (Key Validation etc) all seem to be related to GOA and fairly easy to fix over the next few days.  It's not like a major game design issue that can't be fixed.

WAR is one of the best games that came out after WoW, and currently the only game that can compete with it. I dont know what ur smoking and i want to know where u get it because EVERY person who i talked to on test servers LOVED WAR, including my self. You are in this mystical illusion that if u don't like the game NO ONE ELSE DOES. You know what my friend u fail in life for that because if u go and look on Ebay the Collector edition pre-oders are going for over 200$ a pop (80 original store price).

WAR is great its no AOC, Mythic has made its name in making good game, if u dont like that game stay away from it and dont complain about it here, cause in my opinion its one of the best games since WoW (and WoW isnt that great eithr if u look at it closly)

 Tend to agree with Rollo. Broad sweeping claims of failure is ridiculus. The game will go through a lot of flack for there choices. The game itself is mostly fun though and it still have a considerable amount of subscribers in the USA. That being said, you could say WAR didnt live up to its potential.

I'm not talking about the actual software... you can have the best game ever but if noone can run it properly then what's the point. I'm talking about the incompetant fools hosting the game in europe who don't have a chance in hell of matching the professionalism of Blizzard.

If you think a game has failed because of a problem that was encountered in BETA, than something is wrong.

Yeah, GOA obviously messed up, but that has nothing to do with whether WAR is a great game or whether it will be a success or not. 

I hope for future games they eliminate open beta completely becuase people think they are enititled to playing the beta and expect everything to be perfect and basically play the game for free. That's not the point of beta at all...it is not a free trial.

Yet another post where frustration eclipsed common sense. Regardless, heres hoping they get the GOA issues solved before launch. And keep in mind, claiming a game to be failed before launch is just

I cant speak for EU servers but me personally I DONT LAG at ALL on FULL test servers in the game...check ur computer. The only time i lag is right before server crack, otherwise i am satisfied with the connection. Perhaps try un-installing all that porn on ur computer, i hear it helps.

Well it's still better wait till release is here maybe they'll pull it through and WAR will live in GOA's hands just as well as in the US, doubtful but there's always some hope..... they aren't Failcom afterall.

Love how our europian brethren cry foul when an American product turns out to be slightly problematic when exported to europe.

WAR would fail if it failed on the home front, where it's main market is... North America.

Europe just has to be patient while the product goes through the export process, thats all. Like most other products on the market, be it movies or gadgets or games or whatnot.

Same goes for Europe products being exported to North America.. no doubt if Darkfall ever came out us north americans would have our own export issues to deal with, to give an example.

I laughed out loud. Once again leave it to someone in the MMORPG.com community to bemoan the abortion of another game before it is even born.
