you pay 15$ to play AOC in a open beta state since 3-4 months.

Im sorry but unfortunately i have been in both beta's AoC and WAR and i can see by a long shot that, that  1 point is all that AoC will get on WAR . WAR  is just a more pleasing and enjoyable game by far i mean don't get me wrong i enjoyed my time in AoC the short time i was there but it is no comparison to WAR in terms of Longevity, the only thing AoC has is uber pretty graphics that most ppl cant experience due to having to have a pretty bloody decent Rig to do so.

It does make me laugh tho that  you would Pin a badge on AoC's chest almost stating it is gonna be a winner when WAR beta testers outnumber AoC total playerbase but meh numbers don't mean a thing. To me you are just goona get yourself a whole lot of hurt coming your way cause it is almost certain that WAR is gonna use AoC as a piece of toilet paper, i wish is was not so Cause AoC has so much potential but it is true, sad but true.

Really I had no problems with my client no crashs was running around 60-80fps with everything on high (considering that there is mass ammounts of people i think its pretty good) patcher worked fine maybe WAR is not a EU game? lol

Those Failcom avatars started appearing after the release of AoC. Not during the beta.

I do agree that the failcom avatars is stupid, but your little rant on them is based on a false assumption.

Yes because comparing a game that hasn't been released to a game with 4 months on the shelves is a legit comparison.  Remember AoC was a good game the day it came out, then has been going down ever since.  The fact that this game in an unreleased state has AoC people so worried should speak volumes in itself.

Jeez!!! Did the OP actually compare a released game to an unreleased open beta game and actually gloat about the shortcomings of the unreleased game???

I knew AoC has it's problems but I had no idea of the severity! I did want to check out AoC's 10 day trial to try before I buy, but not anymore! If things with AoC are this bad, then I'd just be wasting my time. No Thanks!

Funny... I had no problems with getting in, havent crashed once, runs perfectly on my desktop and laptop with no lag. 

...Couldnt get AoC to work on ANY system well enough to enjoy the game, constantly crashed, so on, so forth.

But yes, because OP says its an "Erpic Fail"... it MUST be true!  Technically AoC has "Won" over GoA... not Mythic, or Warhammer.  Though I'm sure OP is a little too much of a troll to understand business legistics.

This is retarded. Seriously. #1 This is still beta. Comparing a retail game to beta = desperate. #2 I didn't crash once in over 25 hrs of gameplay in the last 3 days. I am having a blast. I have nothing against AoC but don't try and soap box some misguided facts. Thanks.

If i wanted to play a mmo with cartoon graphics i would play WOW again. LOL i don't understand why ppl think WAR is so far ahead, it looks dated and the animations are craptastic.

Open betas with these masses of ppl (free gameplay remember) are made to test the tech, hardware, and all IP issues that can come out.  

Now.. your welcome to compare AOC 3000 max populated servers to the mythic servers.  This is why we have open beta.  To fix things.  Not to just show up first area (like AOC) to fool few ppl to buy the game.

Now...  I know the state of WAR atm.  Thats all I want to know.  PPl were not given the chance to know the state of AOC at launch.  PPL spent money to find out that the game crashed cause of memory leaks.  Now...   If you consider that a win for AOC.  Then gratz.

Please compare Tortage to the current Warhammer beta.  Remember, that is the fair comparison since Warhammer is not letting you go past level 20.    I'm definitely no aoc fanboy... but Mythic is doing the exact same thing.. they are only allowing you to see a very VERY small portion of the game.

 

I think people who say " WOW needs some competition" are seeing exactly why WOW has 11M subscribers (5M in NA and Europe).  The game is done extremely well and is fun.   Players in the warhammer beta are ALREADY saying it is a grind just doing the same keep captures all the time.

Warhammer will kill AOC next week.  Then Lake Wintergrasp will 'kill' Warhammer in November.  By then players will be sick of doing nothing but the same keeps and scenerios and not having a real pve experience.

Comparing tortage to what WAR is does not make any sense. #1, AOC goes to level 80 out the box while WAR goes to Rank 40. AOC let you see 1/4th the game and WAR is letting you see 1/2 the game. Math not your strong suit?

Looks like a shit to me, time will tell how much of a fail this one will be as well. I dont understand why these companys dish out shitty mmo's full of bugs, no content or just shit in general.
