Yeah- the vice-leader of the free world FORCES her \daughter  to get married for astetic purposes.

I wonder if this poor girl even wants the kid, it would be something if she came out right now and said she wasn't keeping it and that now she has no place to live because she finally decided to control her own life and destny instead of letting her conservative parents decide.  I mean keep the baby even but forcing her to marry?  WTF!?   This is not the American dream and I dont feel adequetly represents what we strive for in America.  This wouldn't bother me if they said she was preganant but the fact that they are getting married.... I dont know who's idea it is but the parents are being more irresponsible then the kids for letting them gor through with it, hell encouraging it!.

YA this is NOT AT ALL the same thing as was reported by DKOS. 

There was NO LIE by Palin regarding this as DKOS tried to push. 

Now as for the daughter being preggo,  she made her choices and has to live with them.  The only diff between her as a republican family values family is that she'll keep the baby and a NON family values family would just see it as some kind of intrusion into their life and abort the baby.  

I see a young 17 year old taking responsibility for her actions, not a scandal as so many here want it to be.

nothing in the CNN article says that the parenst "MADE HER" get married to the man.  Nothing about it in fact is political.  You're still making way too many assumptions about this situation.

Problem is I cant see a mother whos water just broke continue giving a speech instead of going to the nearest hospital she takes a plane ride. I just cant see it

depends on the woman giving birth. 

My ex wife was up and walking around pain free the same day my daughter was delivered.  I was SHOCKED at it believe me. lol.
