Darkfall just released a new 17 minute video. It has some cool stuff. Ship battles, floating platforms to attack player built cities. It looks a lot better than WAR at this point. And i prefer the realistic graphics to this cartoony stuff . Of course we will have to see how beta goes

The design of War seam so poor compare to the design of Darkfall... so you get to wait and see, we all know the endless speeches about Darkfall, and War is out... |

No comment here, If you like Darkfall thats great, I am glad they are finally confirming a open beta and your actually seeing some more in game footage. Personally I think I will be nice and happy in my little WAR universe. P.S - enough with the WAR has cartoony graphics junk. Its really a dead horse atm. Graphics look great to me and I have the rig to really make the game shine. Good luck in Darkfall |

i have seen all of those darkfall videos and honestly it looks not that great im no hater, i just think that for someone who doesnt know a whole lot about darkfall it didnt seem to impress me much |

I like the setting, races, and classes in WAR more than darkfall.
And personally I think Darkfall is vaporware.

I am going to play WAR, but I'd be interested in testing Darkfall too. DF seems to be the kind of game I would really like to play, but the smell of WAR is in the air, and I have followed its aroma to the beta PW and enjoyed it greatly. The Darfall video is uhm... pretty, but also meaningless to me. I'd really have to log in before I decide if it is a fun game or not. |

I really dont think the two could be compared in the same Camp. Warhammer is a confirmed AAA mmorpg. Darkfall ....well...people are still debating whether or not its real.
Darkfall has a video now. Neat. Didn't they start development 4 years before WAR? I see Darkfall (if it does come out..which is doubtful) in the same league as Dark and Light and Pirates of the Burning Sea; kinda like a small time struggling sorta MMO. |

true true. I guess I used my wording wrong. I guess I meant in terms of the people they get. I mean....there's no real advertisiment in this game and all the hype is negative hype. IF it does come out I know the physical world and concept would be bigger than D&L and PotBS but I think the sub numbers may end up as the same. Could be wrong tho......but I honestly do not think it will be very successful. Darkfall reminds me a lot of Shadowbane. Great concept in the beginning but they spent so long developing it that by the time it was release no one really cared as much. |

I dunno man, the tank in the front running around with a spatula reminds me of spongebob squarepants trying to flip Crabby Patties. Seriously the graphics don't impress me much at all and unless it has RVR like Warhammer I could care less. WoW has PVP and that game was not on my go to list. Could be it's just the youtube vid (I watched the HQ versions) but I expected AoC quality graphics and what I saw was WoW w/proper shadows. |

damn poor Darkfall. I remember first seeing vids of it like 5 years ago and thinking holy shit look at those graphix!!!!!... Now i see it and its like a shitty version of EQ2 lol... still tho its not all about the look of it but more about the gameplay. If its all that it promises to be im def gonna be playing it. Ive been waiting for a good SANDBOX game for a long time... all these wannabe sand-box games out-to-date are horrible (except EVE). The last true sandbox (complete freedom game) was SWG. |
