The pictures definately help your argument but the video only shows the clunky movement and zerg like pvp battles.
So I would say a 50% success on the post. |

They both look cool, to bad it comes down to game play. I for one will be getting WOTLK and hope all the teenage pvp epeen strokers go to WAR. either way both games should be fun for those that chose to play them. |

God I wish the haters would STOP with the "omg wow-clone" bs. Anyone who still believes that garbage has been intentionally blinding themselves, seeing only what they want to see and ignoring everything else (or they're just trolling for whatever pathetic reasons they have). My favorite "arguments" from the WoW-cloners: 1) They say it has a similar appearance. Well, Warcraft is inspired by the Warhammer IP, and since WAR is designed to look exactly how the Warhammer IP dictates...there you go. Who's copying who? 2) It has a similar UI and control scheme. Oh snap, that makes it a clone for sure. WoW is obviously the only other game in existence to use things like hotkey bars and inventory screens. They invented that stuff right? Hrm, I suppose with that logic we could say WoW is a DAoC clone...man, is Blizzard able to do anything on its own? 3) It's cartoony like WoW. Now on this one I just call flat out BS. If they seriously believe that crap they're better at fooling themselves than even I imagined was possible. There is none so blind as those who WILL NOT see. If WAR looks like any game before it, it's DAoC. They both have a thing for realism, not the over the top look WoW has embraced. You'll never see a WAR character carrying around a weapon bigger than his entire body. Any other aspects they want to claim "Clone" on can be similarly pinned on WoW for borrowing from the games before it, making them all essentially hypocrits. OMG it has monsters and orcs and elves and swords and capital cities and fighting and spells with casting bars and...give it a rest. Oh, and just a useless side point, "clone" implies "perfect copy" so even at the base level the term fails. Now let me be clear, I'm not writing this to try to get those blind morons to open their eyes...I'd rather they didn't play WAR to be quite honest, the fewer of thise ignorant pricks I have to put up with ingame, the better. I'm merely hoping that fence sitters will recognize the anti-WAR propoganda for what it is: libel and slander. WAR is flying in the face of the naysayers and is poised to succeed despite the doom and gloom predictions of the haters. Mythic has put together an amazing game and once it's released, everyone will finally be able to appreciate it for the gem it is. A blind man can find other ways to see, but for a man who intentionally closes his eyes, there is no hope.
