"My days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle" from Firefly

How viable are they?  I'm looking to play DPS but the melee DPS'ers and nukers seem awful squishy to me.   How effective can tank classes be at DPS?

WoW haters make me laugh.

From all the things I''ve lost I miss my mind the most.

From what I know Swordmaster is very effective if you going the dps path.

Heard black orc does decent too with a 2 hander i guess.

There is no such thing as innocence,
Only degrees of guilt.

Tank DPS comes from high survivability. The longer you can live, the more damage you can output. High armor (Even without a shield) reduces damage in most cases by 60%+, and with all the resistance you get from RvR gear, you can negate up to 40% of spell damage. Throw this ontop of a massive stack of HP and slap on a 2 hander, you have yourself a beast.

Technically the damage is lower, it's just the fact that they dont go down as fast / (should) get targetted last. Even when they are under attack, healers will support them before anyone else. Slow and steady -does- win the race, at least in this case.
