Exactly. Tanks. And more specific, Ironbreakers.

There is a poll on warhammeralliance and some of the most played classes are tanks. Why?

Because I think lots of people select their character based on what role they want to play. If you like to play tanks and you play order with your guild, there are just 2 tanks available: Ironbreaker and Swordmaster (and the swordmaster is not a classic shield and board tank). So if you want to play the knight in the shining armor, your only option is the Ironbreaker.

Chaos only have the Chosen and Black Orc with both being a classic sort of tank. Both are also going to be very popular.

Just though of that while having my coffee.

I think more than just a few Order folks are going to be dismayed when they see their tank options are a dwarf or a fragile looking elf. Though there will of course be people who realize the avatar matter much less than the class mechanics.

I'd say chosen and pretty much any tank ~_~

Nothing, my Rune Priest is rotund little beast with an epic beard.

Just being pragmatic about is all. :(

Bright Wizards and Shadow Warriors tend to be fairly over played as well. In RvR they tear people up and thus the fotm thing starts until some other class gets buffed.

Chosen will be the most overplayed cause they just look the best.

I always noticed DPS classes being played the most in MMOs.

Its because tank are OPed right now and will be fixed . Yesterday me and another IB totaly whacked stonetrol crossing scenario , we both pulled over 40k damage and were basically at their  spawm farming em . Nerf inc imo . IB + path of vengeance + 2hander + 25% increase damage tactic = severly ovverpowered .
