I just finished downloading, and got the same problem. Were probably not allowed in to patch yet, would be my guess. Tried: LotR, CoH, AoC, WAR, Jumpgate Classic Played: SWG, Guild Wars, WoW Playing: Eve Online, Counter-strike Loved: Star Wars Galaxies Waiting for: Earthrise, Guild Wars 2, anything sandbox.

That sounds odd you could be locked out but I do not see why. Check that you have firewall access setup for the patcher. I think you still should be able to update the bits. I'm closed and I updated twice today as they had some small patches for the client.

Once when i was trying to log in and the server was down, it wouldn't let me past the login thing and looked as if i was putting the info in wrong, but as soon as the server came up it was fine. Are you guys on different servers than closed beta? If the servers aren't down, it has been suggested that you uncheck Save Login Name, delete whatever login acc and pw is written and write them again because of some strange bug.

People have been having these issues too. And my guess is, that no one can log in until the preview weekend. And to the OP, if you're not in the preview, then unfortunately, you will have to wait until the 7th of Sept. Sorry =(
