WAR (Warhammer Online)

Lets start with my Background, Well I started playing MMO's 5-6 years ago with Lineage 2 in a private server by that time I just played 3-5 hours peer week for 2 years. Lineage 2 as a GRINDING game and playing 3-5 hour per week it was LAME.

2 years after that I started playing WoW wich it was more suitable for Casual players Fast leveling , easy gear, etc. but after 3 years of that the game got LAME even for a Casual player, yeah, theres a Expansion comming out with a NEW CLASS and stuff but at the end if the SAME feeling, same BG's, same questlike, etc.

3 month ago I bought AoC hopping it would bring me the feeling I had when I started playing Lineage 2 or WoW but the only feeling I felt was dessilution.

I kept playing WoW, with the same guild, same raids, same BG's...

but A Week ago I received an e-mail saying that I was invited to the Closed Beta of WAR, so I download it, took my like 4 days but it worth it. The 3 days I played the CB and it bring me the same feeling I had before. At first I had a hard time choosing what class I would be playing, firts I choose a Chaos Chosen very good class, awesome Armors, a big shield, COOL auras, I played it until I was Rank 5, I would keep playing it but I dont want to be in the DESTRUCTION side. After that I created a High Elve Swordmaster it was cool, not bad but not as good as the chosen IMO, Armor not so cool but cool, Skill VERY COOL but what I did not like was that it lacks as a Tank and as DPS but can do both, I played it until rank 5, after that I tryed Shadow Warrior and that was my class FULL dps, although the skill does not look as cool as the other classes but it DOES the job. I am looking forward to try Engineer and some other classes this weekend.

Public Quest are soooooooooo cool, scenarios are AMAZING and quest are Easy and simple to do and lots of fun to do too.

The only thing that dissapoint me is thatt as a CASUAL player i know i will never have my Tome of Knowledge full of Tittles, Achievements or Rewards and I know I will not be the first to be Rank 40 or the first to kill X Boss or the Strongest RVRER, but Believeme there still Plenty of Room for us Casual Players we can Help in sieges or take over a city, on public quest, etc.

Bottom Line, If you are bored of your current game and looking for a new Beginning this is it. WAR will bring you all that phone and illussion you had when you first started playing your current MMO.

P.S. Even my girlfriend wants to play it and she never was interested in any Videogame in fact she hated that I play them, now she wants to make a High Elves Swordmaster.
