wow had its share of missing quests, pvp and general graphics bugs but it was a lot more polished that most

 

lotrol dungeons dissapeared on few peoples computers with sli - appart from that its release was as dull as the game itself :D

 

war is going to come in somewhere between eq2 and wow i think on release - if you get upset about bugs, missing content etc I suggest you go play a 2yo+ mmo for a few untill they sort out all the new issues an influx of players brings

I didn't play Helgate, didnt know it was even an MMO lol. I did beta test Vanguard and played at launch and I would say that Vanguard was a little better than AOC. Worst problem I had in Vanguard was the lag and servers crashing. Imagine what AoC would be like if it wasnt instanced to death lol.

well they wanted you to think it was an mmo by charging you a monthly fee to get more content beyond their basic diablo with guns game. Its hard to peg it there were alot of players on at one time but it was sort of diabloish but they did try and charge a monthly fee for expanded content. And it was sort of an mmog.

No mmos are ever finished, not one single MMO ever launches finished, except for possibly LOTRO.

And WoW being released finish? gimme a break. I havent played it since it started, I started a little after Burning Crusade came out. But that game has and still has a nice deal of bugs, glitches, and exploits (some of which i know :P), and is never really 'finished' The game might finished when WoW has everything the other warcraft games have in it, and even then it wont be most likely :P

No, War is here, and it WILL be everywhere.  I played DAoC many moons ago, and it was/is the best PvP experience to date.  Warhammer is its successor,  and Mythic has cemented its future due to being true to itself and its fanbase.

And the second paragraph the major issue is you played DAoC many moons ago..

I guess you haven't seen what a cess pool it turned into.

You really played Warhammer?

The game is very fun, the art style is great and the massive aspect is very nice with the PvE and PVP interaction, PQs etc.

But, I really dont thing the game is exacly a DAoC 2.0, it seems you will be disappointed if you just want a DAoC sucessor.

Warhammer is very good, but it is not finish, we will need to wait for the missing classes...

NDA has been dropped.  Simply put the Beta of WAR is way past AoC for completion.  It's release will be close to WoW for bugs.  Mythic has done a very good job on a PVP game that contains PVE play.
