Cheers for the movie.

Something about the way the chars move in this game really bugs me. They seem to move so stiff.

I'm not in the beta so I don't know if it just looks like that on video. But I really hope they will more "smooth".

But still, can't wait to the open beta so I can try it out. Might be a new home untill Darkfall comes out *snicker*.

DaoC, EQ2, DnL, WoW, GW, SWG, AC, Tibia, WAR - atm: EvE and LotRO

Great movie, witch elf and squig herder look like a lot of fun...

Though the spellcasting really bothers me, it doesn't look at all like "bam youre dead", more like "swishy dark haze you take some damage". One of the upsides of WoW or EQ2 was the immense fun of having a fire specced mage actually letting hell break loose, at least from a graphics and sound viewpoint. Well, might be added at higher levels...

The models look really good in my book, the textures don't bother me in the least, what kind of frightens me is the ultra-low viewing distance (like 500 meters max that is). Is this something that was intended in the beta client and will it be improved?

Also about the slow combat. It looks a little slower than WoWs but that can only do good since WoWs battles tended to be very frantic and highly combo related (Ask me, I played a PvP specced rogue and you could virtually button mash an enemy to death within 10 seconds by fast clicking the right stuns in the right order)...
