I couldnt install the game in m y pc, that simpleconfig is just rubbish and dont fix anything, i receive the rbddata incorrect errors, the patcher crashes, impossible.
Cancel my subscription, i wont pay anything else with this "game". No enjoy, just hours and hours wasted to try it to work. Even formatted my pc but nothing works.

I use to want my money back too but getting to watch Failcom squirm and the Fanbois attempt to make things better is worth it. Its sad that the forums are way better than the game.

In a way I want to see the game turn around and make a good job of it, purely for the people who enjoy the game. They deserve a game in a playable state.

But on the other hand I want the game to fail....again purely as an example to any other dev never to submit such an unfinished bugged game to the paying public ever again.  People will say every mmo is like that at release...But AoC has set a new benchmark for that and has the biggest backlash of forums in mmo history.

Even if it does morph into a playable game as intended pre launch (impossible), I would never give my hard earned cash to Funcom in any other game.

EDIT: you should make sure to read the min specs of games you buy in the future.

Bare minimum:
P4/Athlon 3 GHz or better
1 GB RAM
Windows XP (DX9 only)
128MB DX9.0c graphics card with shader 2.0 support (GeForce 6800+/Radeon 9800+)
3GB free disk space
DVD drive

Recommended:
Intel Core 2 duo e6600 or better
2 Gb ram (for vista)
Windows Vista (for DX10)

Then get more specific with your hardware. Also, everyone knows that min specs are mostly a joke, its just means the game will execute, not run well/be great looking.

I had the min specs and i bought it, so ? I dont have any problems to install any other game, at least being able to play.

You do not meet the bare minimum specs for this game. No two ways about it, sorry.

but the point that has already been made is, your pc specs are even far below the min required. your useing a probaly 5 year old video card that right there could make the game crash from the start.

You should have visited ANY forum concerning AoC before buying the game; it really would have saved you some headaches and monies.

In Addition, MrBloodworth is right on this particular issue. You don't even meet the minimum requirements. You're lucky you even got it running.  Moral of the story: Read minimum specs before buying and treat the "minimum specs seriously."

There is a reason why thay label it as "minimum specs."

OP.... AoC is having HUGE problems with their hardware coding... (regardless of what the fanbois say).

Personally I dont think it is worth playing, but others (at least a few) would disagree with me. But, u are correct... .2 GHZ will NOT affect the instalation of the game in even a remote sense.

you best bet (still a very poor one though) is to post on the AoC main forums in the tech support section.

Personally... I look forward to seeing you all (minus two...take a guess who) in WAR in a couple weeks.

Just take the game back and buy it at a later date when it's cheaper and the code is more stable.  Why go through all this trouble for a game that isn't ready to be live?

Just try it again in 6 months, if it is still around.

thats the thing..... he CANT get a refund.... once software is opened, retailers will not take it back....

The days i could play it on my holidays in the pc of my sister i liked much the game if you ignore some serious bugs about class disbalance ( i say bugs cause its not just disbalance, there are certain bugs that make some classes unkillable )

I will probably try it again some day now i have the game but if i knew how it was i would have never bought it.

My complain is about installation mainly.

It is really a pity, good game but still beta, that is true, i didnt believe it until i tried the game.

Anf ofc i know there will be much more things to complain cause i just played about 10 days.
