Nuff said. If you didn't think this game was going to be popular, as soon as the download link was made available, the mighty Fileplanet was brought to its knees with traffic. |

Yeah, I'm just talking about the presentation layer web site. The download servers are working fine. :) |

Thank god, unlike another game, they allow the closed beta people to just patch forward rather than have to kill the fileplanet download as well. Makes it nicer for you all and is much nicer than using a torrent. |

Not sure what you are talking about. Seems to work fine for me. In fact Warhammer hasnt even made the hot download of the day. |

Just to make this clear, I'm not complaining about Fileplanet - I've been a member since it started and love it, I'm just bragging about WAR's popularity. |

Heh, no wonder it was going to slow, but in the end, downloading it at 750k/s at average and getting about a 3hr download w00t
Also like ColdSun, I have been a really long member, I think Feb 2007?...I might be wrong hehe but finally it's worth it, I dont like the fact that if you subscribe you get a chance into open beta though...maybe thats the deal Mythic made to make a better client?... |

Finally it started downloading after almost 30 mins of refreshing! If I wasn't so amped to get it finally after checking my email almost daily for a CB invite, I would have waited till 3am to download. |
