It takes a village to raise a child, but it takes a viking to raze a village! |
the NVidia GTX 260 OC kicks major ass in this game. I just upgraded, and I have to say, I'm impressed. The world is stunning with volumetric clouds, thick tall grasses blowing in the wind, and trees gently swaying back and forth. I'm loving it!

MMOs require more reasoning and imagination than most stereotypically ''adult'' activities. |

I have a GTX 280 OC as well. Intel Core2Duo E8400 (3.0 GHz). 4 GB RAM. Vista 64-bit with SP1. My frame rate fluctuates wildly depending on where I am in the world. Out in the country, I consistently average about 60 fps. It's peaked at 75, but never dropped below 50. In populated areas like Khal I average about 30 fps (once I've done the Vanguard Turn). It will drop into the high teens occasionally, but that's usually within the first minute of rifting to the place. |
