Age of Conan

What is wrong with all the gamers today ...really ??? What's up with all the hate mongering against a game you will not play again, or will quit in near future..

Look at all these posts in this forum, even the official AoC forum can't beat this much bullshit...

I currently play AoC ...And honestly there is NOTHING wrong with it, from my perspective atleast..And also, I'm in a healty guild and have lots of friends that plays, and NONE of them thinks there is a single thing wrong with AoC, they are not even aware of these stupis things that goes on in the forums about this game..

And even so..If there were something wrong just don't try to destroy the game for others, I like every bit of AoC and have been there since beta..

Some will say, we do this because we lost money, lost money ?
Or some will even call it their investment !!!??? It's a few cases of beer or a couple of movie tickets..

Others will say, but we have been lied to !! Again' It's a GAME, it's not a world war conflict...
And lies ?? Well..In all my 25 years of computer gaming experience I haven't played one game that hasn't been overhyped by it's creators or marketing spins created that didn't match the final product..You just have to look with a sceptic eye on all such things...You either like the "core" product or you don't, I like it and think it has tremendous potencial for the future, If that isn't ruined by the angry mob already..

An example:
World of Warcraft, this game wen't in the opposite direction, It was so hyped that it's now considered THE NR ONE world wide, that everyone and their grandmother must play it, even thou compared to other MMORPG's it's really nothing special..
I like AoC better than World of Warcraft, and I like to continue to play that game...Please do not force me to play other games that I do not like, since the angry mob is out to destroy certain games..

Another Example:

Vanguard, This game met the same fate that Age of Conan is getting if it not stops...Sure Vanguard had it's fair share of problems but is now a good and solid product part from one thing, no players, with no players there will be no world..

Several other games has met the same grim fate, I'ts a GAME for 40 dollars, that even include one month PLAY so you can judge if you want to STAY or LEAVE..

But please after you leave, will you PLEASE stop the idiotic herassing of this game and it's company, Funcom is atleast trying to defend their product...You make it harder and harder for them to actually prove that they wan't to make the best game they can with AoC...

You may also say that hopefully developers WILL LEARN their lesson not to do this and that, or say this and that...But what done is done, It's a 20 milj dollar project and you wan't them to be completly honest with every little detail there is...

-We have only half a game ready, but we had to release it anyway..

Honest people comes along way, sure they do..But if you sit with your ass in a meatgrinder you have to try to make the best of the situation and try to fix it...It has always been this way with games and software..

A paying customers has every right to complain when they feel something is wrong with their purchased product youy say....
Sure, but this is not complaining this is a angry lynch mob that is building up like a tornado that has almost become unstoppable

I'm defending Funcom in this because..

1. I wan't to continue to play this game on servers that are somewhat healthy...Can I do that PLEASE..

Sure, there will obviously be a time for me to "tire" of AoC aswell, but right now i'm having a good time, but everytime i try to read the forums I just get SAD...

Finally, just as you should know I'm not saying that everything Funcom and other game-companies do regarding this is right in any way, they could have done things diffrently, but the damage is done already, give them a chance to fix it, just for the sake of "there is people that actually want's to play the game" not for the sake that I think it's alright to produce products that isn't really done because of "time and money"

Please, let me and others continue to play Age of Conan..

We're pissed because we've been in the mmo world long enough to know what a good mmo is, AND WE WANT TO PLAY ONE AGAIN, but mmo devs keep pushing trash out the door.

If you like this crap then fine, like it all you want, but that just means that you haven't been around long enough to know just how amazing mmos have the potential to be.

You might want to direct this to the devs so they can make the game patches that are needed to

keep the players.  Don't blame us haters, and especially don't say there is nothing wrong with the

game.  You lose all credibility in that statement alone.  Have a nice day :)

If you like it so much why do you even care what anyone else says about the game? Why are you reading pissed off rants on fourms insted of playing? Why are you posting your own annoyed rant insted of playing?

Everyone is entitled to thier opinions.. if someone is pissed off about the game an wanna post about it.. good for them. If the game is great in your eyes and you want to play it.. good for you. Play it. As I said if you like it who cares what others think or post?

I have been around..Long enough..Those games you are refering to are probably still there..UO, EQ etc etc..just play them..
