WAR (Warhammer Online)

I don't know if this was just some random person or what but I saw this  3 days in the past 1 1/2 weeks. I was sitting there one night and the discussion in WOW was nothing on PVP in chat. Then all of a sudden someone post :Doesn't Warhammer look cool? If you want real pvp action and not this kind you see in WOW you need to check out WAR". Well I was like FUCK YEAH because ppl talk about WAR there but not alot. Well the person had logged within 3 secs because I checked there class and level. I was like hmmm weird.

And then something along these lines have happened 3 more times and each time they log right after making the announcement lol. But I have to say on my server it got people excited lol. Just wondering if anyone had seen this happen on there server or has it just been me? I know random people will talk about WAR but its in subjest each time we weren't talking about pvp and the first time ppl were making fun of some girl being dumb in IF lol. I don't sit there though since I am in and out in AV and such.

All this does is make people feel better about themselves.  Kind of a way to reassure themselves that their hard earned money will not be wasted.  Just wait until WAR launches there will be so many fanboys running around spouting garbage about WAR sucking and WOW being the second coming of Christ.

Why would someone log into wow after playing war to tell peeps how good it is just to reassure themselves they didn't waste their money?  One, they'd look like a fool later if it really sucked and two all they have to do is cancel their preorder. 

What I was really asking has anyone seen this? Everytime the person logs out immediately. I do not mind it or care the more stuff for WAR the better. I like both games and they both give me something different.

But like I said if anyone plays WOW have they seen this happen in chat? Its not a normal person talking its like they log in and right out after saying it. Maybe a little marketing? Maybe some fans just jumping around spreading the news on WAR?

I'm sure it's just people who are thinking about switching trying to get other ppl to. 

Problem is you have to ask them to preorder.  This hurts the game.  Instead of just giving them a link to open beta info I have to tell them to pull out their cc card for a beta key?  Not happening.  I haven't even seen the game yet, I'm not going to lose credibility telling someone to throw money down.  Effing greedy EA. 

So the people I'm not as comfortable with won't hear anything until I see the game and let them know.  I don't even want them involved in this whole preorder, no nda lift, no start date fiasco with EA/Mythic prancing around like a teasing over-priced stripper.  Most people casually interested are just not going preorder anyway.  Yes, be proud you are an elite not some lowly casual.  Mythic wants them tho even if you don't. 

Makes a change as every other game I go in has General chat there has people going on about WoW.
