Anyone even had one hiccup of performance from the Mythic account site?  I sure didn't.  Have to give Mythic props on that.  I can remember so many website launches like this where resources were under allocated and the sites were practically frozen after they were opened up.  Seems everybody has been able to access the site just fine today, create their accounts and enter their codes.  I know many don't see something like this to be a big deal, but I guarantee if the site had displayed poor performance, there would be a ton of threads complaining about it.

Couldnt agree more.  If the site was running terribly you would definately see posts about it.  Mythic did a great job with DAoC and Im sure they'll continue it in Warhammer.  So far so good.  

Mythic is on their game...unlike another company that will remain nameless.

Yea i had no problems with getting to the site, but i did have a problem with my pre-order beta key.

Through the master account it was said to be invalid.  But that got fixed quickly.  I know when WoW.com had big updates, hell even now that site freezes up.  And it even freezes up on a random basis. (no not connection google works every time when WoW.com does not)

A lot of us with "lives" that have "jobs" can sign up for things like this... I would say there are more white collar type workers that play these games than wal mart employees that have no computer access at work.

Poor Europe doesnt even have a working website, dreams of account section and possible downloads seem far away

Haha, agreed. I am at work and didn't have a problem. I suspect that plenty of us are using our work connections to enter our OB keys. In fact, I bet that by the time those with "lives" get home, the 50,000 mark will have been passed already and they won't be able to get into the preview weekend.

Where is all this sillyness coming from? I mean come on people use your common sense! The game is NOT even open for Beta!

Mark my words, "Once Open Beta is announced and folks figure out they are able to register their keys and get into the game" The website WILL get VERY SLOW as ALL other MMO's have in the past!

I am quite used to the bogged down servers on the WoW site when anything cool has come out.  When everyone went to enter their keys for BC man did that suck.  So yes, definately two thumbs up for a fantastically managed site Mythic.

Yep all websites are slow when people using them...I mean look at Ebay or google...slow as all hell.

it is expected for people to jam pack the server trying to make the first 50k, don't get your panties in a bunch guys, the guy above me is right, no beta announced, but i guarantee no beta for 2 weeks, so no jammed server ever   till launch date

Just made my master account and entered the code today to be sure no problems would come from early entry. It worked flawlessly and I now have a OB account with enabled status. The download is coming Monday and should be super fast compared to other Warhammer client downloads. Should be fun once it gets started, even got my lady to join me in OB :)
