better heal packs gave more xp. If I remember correctly. To get the formula, would be difficult. Try scouring fraps of the game. Maybe someone recorded themselves healing. Your only hope.

I don't recall the exact numbers, but healing wounds (black bars) yielded much higher XP than healing damage. I vaguely recall that damage healing XP was around half of the straight damage number, while wounds were a multiple of the wound damage number. There was always a lot more XP to be had in healing wounds than in healing damage, but because of the damage you could generate with posture changes (the various roll actions in the fourth marksman tree) the prefered method of getting "cheap" healing XP was the macro posture change healing. Becaue entertainers took damage to their action bars when performing flourishes, which was the way to earn entertainment XP, action heals in cantinas were a great way to get medic XP. CMs tossing area action heals could get you scads of healing XP, particularly in the hologrind period where the cantinas were packed with people grinding their way through the entertainment profs, and it worked both ways, as my CM was often asked to deliberately mind disease entertainers so they could in turn heal the mind disease, as entertainers were the only ones who could heal mind damage and disease. The more powerful healing packs healed more damage or wounds, therefore per application you'd see more XP. But you could use a wound pack B, for example, three times, while a wound pack D would heal those wounds with only a single use. More powerful packs had more powerful numerical heals, so healing was faster and a bit more efficient on the healer's side (less mind drain to use the higher power heals for the same healing power of several lower power pack heals). |

Ah. I remember tumbling for tips, but the best was getting a pet and doing pet trick and spamming the hell out of it. I use to run one toon pet tricking and three others healing. The three couldn't keep up with the pet tricker. lol. "Tips for Tricks" |
