Yeah it's funny when a female joins the vent/teamspeak. All the sausage fest accumulates into the same channel she goes to. I'm usually the first one in the channel to try and scare her off, I am pro like that.

I like having women in the guild so that I can watch the drama, rather than participate in it.

Girls are bad for guilds, and good.  Depends on how you look at it. They are distractions, but they also make the men work harder.  Plus it gives them reason to stay with your guild.  So I guess the pros out weigh the cons.  But all those pros are nothing if the girl quits.  Hmmm...  Maybe I have too much free time on my hands

sometimes a girl is fun to have in ur guild cuz it lightens the mood and people joke around more.... other times they bring drama like you wouldnt believe and you end up logging off for the night o.O

I'm a little surprised by these responses.  My guild in WoW is about 40% female.  Most are wives, girlfriends, etc., but we don't seem to run into any of the things that are listed here.  They are great to have around.  As a bonus, a couple are the motherly type so they are great at taking care of guild business nobody else wants to deal with.  They probably also help keep everybody a little more in-line than if it was just a boys club.  I don't know if it's a perfect setup, but the guild has been in existance since WoW release (and we've never had any of the big drama you see in other guilds).

anyway @ the other poster. you gotta have a lucky guild. I have seen some serious crap in my wow time with girls. I still find it amazing to see girls that actually dare to say they are girls. I have even seen guys harass girls ingame.

I never played WoW with girls so it's possible that I just can't relate.

I did, however, play with women; some of whom could make you cringe. 

Being verbally abusive has nothing to do with maturity.

And you misunderstood me.

last time we had girls in our wow guild and some were officers they ripped apart a 2 year old guild in to 3 splinters over grudges.

So if you can have no women in your guild the better it is.

P.S. It's also funny to hear the losers get all obsevive over a virtual character/voice.

Yeah some people will never rise above their animal instincts. 

The only role a girl fills in an online environment, in my opinion, is to throw every other guy out of whack and make themselves act like idiots, and give away shit that they never wanted to give in the first place. You can only take the high road for so long. Yes, shes probably at fat troll, but there is always the glimmer of hope that it could turn into something better, like a supermodel. oh yeah, and cyb0r.

*EDIT* I DO undertand that not all female gamers are fat trolls. If you are fat, though, and don't like being called fat, then do something about it. It's no ones fault but your own.
