I too now hate Funcom and will now refer to them as Failcom. After reading a post on here where GMs were banning people with little to no proof of wrong doing.

Before I was optimistic about the game and stopped playing, hoping to return to it once everything was fixed and it was considered working, but I draw the line where the customer base is being treated badly.

You can lie to me about content, and fail to deliver key features, because I have a chance to test the game and decide if my money will continue to support you, but banning people for very little evidence? Thats total BS...

I consider myself neutral or good towards all the MMO companies, but Failcom is on my hate list, with SOE.

SOE is on there not for SWG, but for letting PS turn into a POS and also banning me from PS for one hour of my cousin killing friendlies with a flail (W/e the artiellery is). And it was a immediate perma ban for killing about 20 people over a full hour... no like a temp ban, even though they already has a penalty if you killed friendlies.

The game blows. I stopped at lvl 57 on my PoM a month ago. Infact, I could not even bring myself to try another class. That's a first for me considering I started playing MMO's back when "Kingdom of Drakker" was the only one.  Hrmm actually I am not even sure if that game is considered a MMO.. 

FudgeCom is a joke and I feel the same way.

WoW, they ban for reason like that, but still leave cheater guilds playing.. wow.. great job. Funcom, get your organizing right. And ive seen lots of lots of forum posts been locked and deleted for reasons customers dont find reasonable. Theres something called common sense after all!

This was exactly what pushed me over the edge too.

Vanguard's launch was horrible, but imo Sigil was humble about it and I was able to stick with the game through the flaws (I wanted to see it succeed), ended up spending many hundreds of hours there. Failcom on the other hand have an arrogance about them - like they are laughing about screwing us all out of USD$50.

I never thought I would say this about a company but I actually HATE Failcom.

Sad to see that they made you stop playing though.

Yeah, Smedley is so much better... Are you insane? Have you read the artickle when Smedley explain that he knows better than all hes players? There is no more arrogant bastard in the history of MMOs than Smedley. Search for threads about him here if you don't beleive me.
