That 90% of the people that pre order are going to cancel that order one hour before the time is up. Developers think, WOOOOOO look at all the pre orders "SWEET SUCCESS". But really it's the people with" pre orders" that say Pffff that's what you think and hit that cancel button at the very last second while screaming "Thanks for the free ride". Don't count your Chickens before they hatch.

He makes the point that the number of pre-orders and the numbers of beta applicants you have are fairly meaningless numbers. They have little bearing to your game success or failure. |
