I don't know a whole lot about WotLK or some of the changes it's bringing, and I don't know any good info sites on it. I wanted to ask about a rumor someone was talking about in General Chat last night. They were saying that inscription for druids would allow them to change the animal they turn into with their shapeshift powers. He said some of the possible changes were things like turning into a polar bear instead of a normal bear, but he also said that you could turn into completely different animals like raptors and scorpids.

I'm hoping someone with more knowledge of the game can help me out here. Do these rumors sound plausible, or was the guy just rambling?

Your best bet is to ignore rumors and such and go to the Lich King website all the information is there. It is possible however.

Haven't heard it, but it's a good idea. If they aren't planning to do that, they should.

there have been blue posts about this, most classes will have some cosmetic type changes they can have, but druids (as shapeshifters of course) get the coolest ones

red fox is the only one implemented.

For inscription I suggest checking mmo champion. They cover the latest with WLK.

As for changing the animal graphic for druid forms, that's entirely possible. I believe its lesser (or maybe minor, use numbers imo Blizzard!) glyphs that change small details for your character such as spell graphics and reagent costs.

Worgen for bear form would be sick I think...

If I were you, I would not trust anything thta you hear on the wow forums, as its pretty much filled with douchebags and trolls.  These forums are better, but they still a re pretty much filled with wow haters and people who just like to flame wow. 

If you go onto google and just search up wotlk info, you will get all of the information you want about wotlk.  Including all those ones about druids you were wondering about.

So far we have beta confirmation of a glyph(Inscriptions profession) that turns bear form into a polar bear, and another that turns cat form into a red lynx.
