Well, since he gets caught in every lie, he's hardly a master of PR. I'll go with the deceiver one, since he is definitely shameless in his lies. |

Honestly, what has this guy done that is so bad? He's just done his job and that is PR. IMO, just be happy that if Funcom tanks you think he will have that easy finding a job within the games industry? Plus, from what I gather the word Ellingsen is used by some within the community to describe fanboi behaviour (in my view fanbois are those rabid people who defend something to the death, never acknowledging any major flaws) or lying/cover up. |

I disagree. The iraqi information minister was at least funny... but then again.. i'm looking at it from the American side of it. Imagine being an iraqi soldier Iraqi soldier sees US tanks driving up and down the main roads of Baghdad. Looks on TV and see's his government's information minister saying " we are beating the Americans back, they are no longer in our country. The US propaganda machine is lying when they say they have entered Baghdad".... soldier once again looks at the US tanks casually driving around Baghdad and shakes his head in disbelief. It's almost an exact replica of what AoC players are going through. They see the game falling apart around them.. they see their fellow players quitting.. their client crashes and the game is buggy.. yet when they come to the web.. what do they find.. EE saying " we had a great launch, the game is awesome everything is going exactly the way we expected".... player once again logs into the game and tries to play and shakes his head in disbelief |
