But just on a new PvMP based server. With the upcoming expansion, this would be a great time to do something like that I think. Of course it won't happen, but that is my suggestion. The 1 zone for PvMP is just not enough. It is a great system it just needs to be expanded. |

No, it isnt for the best. All of the emo whores who want to hide behind LOTRO's PVMP style can play any server BESIDES a dedicated PvP server. No troubles, right?
Hell, give EVERYONE, Freeps and Creeps, Level 50 characters on this "PvP Server", and open all of the zones to us. Let us go wild, storming through The Shire as a warg, or something. There isnt a reason not to, unless the devs feel that by doing this it may become too popular, and no one will want to pay attention to their ub3r scr1pt qu3stz, y0!

I do not remember reading about any pvmp expansion area, but it does make me wonder with the level jump to 60. Please remember that this game is still in the first chapters of the first book, 'The Fellowship of the Ring'. There is so much to be included, and even lands that were not included in the dialog of the book, but the maps and descriptions during the fourth age. There is beyond enough for 100 mmo's in all the middle earth. With that being said, there will be more PvMP. It is just a matter of when, and in keeping with the lore. |

Thanks for your opinion it has been duly noted. And for as far as the reason there is no world PVP that has nothing to do with it's popularity but rest soley in the license that they have with tolkien enterprise. PVP doesn't fit the lore the way you all want it. PvMP was a stretch to even get in the game in the form it is in now. Besides the fact that they have an awsome game that doesn't need PVP like you want. and yes this is my opinion and shared by alot of people who play the game that i know. |

I played LotRo for just about a year, i always dig up news and articles etc no matter what i play so i know where the game is going and what it has in store for me.. LotRo was designed first and formost as a PvE game, the ettenmoors is an area to keep the PvP fans happy, no you won't get a pure PvP realm/world/server, yes you may get new areas in up coming expansions. If you wanted PvP why choose LotRo? it clearly stated when i first started playing that it was designed for PvE mainly.. |
