I think some of the mmos that are out now are horrible as I'm sure others do as well but I have always noticed a lot of posts speculating about how long before <insert mmo here> shots down but for the life of me can't remember any that shut down due to bad press publicity etc.  So my question is if anyone knows of any that suffered a premature death due to population drop,bad press etc.?

Cynical? Me? Never.

AC2, Earth and Beyond, and Auto Assault are three that I'm familiar with.
