Lineage II

For the people interested in start with the new expansion, servers went down a couple of hours ago, should be up soon with the new Gracia update, including the faster leveling. just thought I would let people know .

What sucks is there are all these crappy news articles on the main site of mmorpg.com yet no announcement of the Gracia launch. =/

Hopefully the download takes a LOONNNG time so I can finish up my work otherwise I won't stop playing for a while .

aight, already level 23, and trying to find a decent raid group :<

This update was MUCH NEEEDED. I went from level 30-32 in just about an hour and a half on my cleric by soloing then dying by a random raid boss and then doing kamaloaka. I suggest doing kamaloaka atleast once per day (the most you can do it). All you need is a few people. Surprisingly we got a raid group really quick but didn't last long since it is pretty late (and we died lol, was funny).

My lvl 66 would have been easily into 67 by now if I had not stopped, the leveling was so much faster it was unbelievable, before 1% per 20 minutes, now I get around 5% per 20 minutes, its beautiful reminds me of leveling like when this character was in his 40s.

The slow leveling speed was the only reason my girlfriend and I stopped playing this a while ago... I don't think we ever got past 20 except for on the test server where leveling was increased a ton =P

I may resubscribe to check it out, question though... My box is from The Chaotic Chronicle... would I have to buy an expansion (or more?) to get up to date?  Or could I just resubscribe for a month and be able to jump right in after downloading the patches?  I haven't paid much attention to L2 since I quit... the grind was just too much for me back then.

Just re-sub and download the patches, then you'll be good to go.

All L2 expansions are free.  I wish every MMO would adopt this model.

Also, would someone please send me a recruite a friend invite for L2. I want to return to L2 and start a new character, and I figure someone may as well get credit for it.
