I may be wrong and it may be already implemented considering I havent played since June, but I havent heard anything on it for a while. Didnt they initially say it was going to come in August??

FAILCOM hasn't added anything useful to the game since release, lol. Don't hold ur breath waiting for them to release dx10 version of the game.

Its never coming its like the carrot on the stick fc has with the new graphics engine for ao. Keep the stupids playing and drag it out and milk them good.

My guess is, not until all the optimizing and polishing are done. ....That might...take awhile though.

Doubtful they will layer on DX10 to an already under-optimized graphics engine. It would just cause headaches I think.

Never know though. Case in point; They tried to nerf classes into balance before they had stats and feats even working properly. So they have been illogical in the past.

Bet it would look damn sweet with DX10 though!

This guy's obviously nuts.

Clear case of fraud here concerning AoC.  My box claims that AoC offers DX10.  That is just simply not accurate.  It's like advertising a car that gets 45 miles to the gallon, and then you buy it and find out it gets 25 miles to the gallon.

There is a bunch of excuses for that. "Enhanced for DX10", or maybe the engine is enhanced for, or able to optimize DX10 capabilities, but it hasn't been "activated" yet.

Fraud..bit overzealous there. Deceitful? No argument here.

I think the game will be cancelled before DX10 becomes available for AOC.

The game needs a HELL of a lot more important things than DX10.
