My fingers hurt from video games :( |
It'll have content. Unlike AoC shit is actually there and getting tested. They have Elder Testers testing City Sieges almost non stop atm. |

AoC's major downside is that it lacks in end game content. There is only so many alts you can roll before you get bored. The major siege battles that were supposed to be a big part of AoC are still glitched making it hard to play. Throw in a lot of general bugs that need fixing and you can see why so many subscribers cancelled their subscription and went back to their original games. The rest of us are waiting for WAR. I don't think Mythic will make the same mistake as Funcom. AoC was rushed. |

Then they noticed how big their issues were, and it was too late because everyone figured out the facade. |

The very fact that Age of Conan is in such a random state of flux with some things working and others broken/unfinished suggests to me that the project suffered from very poor direction from the top down. I don't blame the programmers; I suspect they are probably doing the best they can with being pulled in many different directions at once. The whole game just has a crazy schizophrenic feel to it. It's really no surprise to anyone who is familiar with Gaute Godager's previous work. Anyways, the only people that can truly answer OP's question are still bound by NDA. |

Well its hard to judge before game is released. Keep in mind AoC had quite long beta ( both general one and tehnical/focus test one ) and it still failed. The main problem AoC have now they are polishing mid levels while players at max level are getting bored. If in WAR is hard to get to max level then they have time to polish high level stuff otherwise its better to be polished now.
I wish WAR becomes great success and hopefully AoC will pick up the pace so we all have more quality MMO's to choose from. |
