I'm not an AoC fanboy and I understand why a lot of people feel like they have been ripped off by Funcom. I also do believe that AoC is probably doomed to fail. I still like the game though. The PVP is fun in groups and it is getting better. Funcom has came up with a way to discourage ganking that I believe will work. Those of us who have played a lot of games on launch know that endgame content will come. Until then join me on a pvp server and have some fun. When there is a bunch of room for improvement, the improvements made are more noticeable. (ie:Vangaurd) Give it a chance. Its not as bad as you might think and I believe it will get better. |

After from what I have seen and heard about this game, the idea of trying it sounds just about as appealing as tasting piss. No thanks |

to the OP: kudos for trying to be positive, but - assuming you are 80 - I suspect that if you took a break for even two days you would not really feel any reason to go back. The problem is that pvp is both meaningless and broken. There is really only so much of age of one-shotting around Kheshatta for no reward or consequence that can keep people interested. |

This game may become actually playable if Gaute Godager lay down the crack pipe and throw himself down a open sewer manhole. |

In my opinion, it would take a complete replacement of the dev team leaders to save the game. Either that, or a buy out by someone (SOE?). They have lost all credibility, trust and direction. I doubt most people would even consider the game again unless there was a drastic change in leadership and (any) direction. That isn't going to happen though I think. Not to mention, WOTLK and WAR are coming, so why bother going back to a game that you quit in disgust when there are two others to try for at least a month. |

There might have been a small chance of me going back and trying AOC again in a few months back before I got into WAR beta. Having played WAR beta there is no way I'll go back. I've seen a real game now. |
