Testlive Patch Notes 8/17/08

*Fixed an issue where hitting ctrl-B brought up a "Bug Report Window". This window has no function and will be removed.

*In regards to some confusion about attributes in-game, "Strength, Intelligence, Constitution, Dexterity and Wisdom" have been renamed "Willpower, Spirit, Fortification, Agility and Lore". Effects and descriptions will not be changed. What now, bitches?

*Added a new method of travel across large zones. Players will have the option of stabbing themselves to death.

*Modified the pathing of several White Sands Picts, respawn of pirates in Tortage, and other changes just to piss off raiders.

*Very significantly either increased or decreased the drop-rate of money from bosses in epic zones, based on however this coin is about to land.

*Made several significant changes to various abilities, but damned if we're gonna tell you which ones or how. Have fun.

*Just re-roll.

*This update introduces the long-awaited PVP patch! Just kidding, see you all in December.

*Introduces a new PVP mini-game. Up to 12 players can team up together to beat the guys from our itemization department with baseball bats.

*Fixed an exploit involving jumping onto terrain. Players may no longer jump.

*Fixed an exploit involving climbing onto terrain. Players may no longer climb.

*Hell if we know.

*Crafted level 80 shields still only have 16 defense as opposed to 20 for normal shields. Not fixing it, just letting you all know we hate you.

*Arbitrarily changed the difficulty of all raid bosses regardless of previous difficulty.

*In an effort to equilize raid and crafted equipment, all raid gear will now offer heroic defense and 1.4% invulnerability to one specific damage type. Collect all 72 class-specific pieces!

*Fixed an issue where White Hand Priests were keeping agro on a tank for more than three consecutive seconds. They will now bounce around wildly, randomly nuking anyone in the zone, anyplace in the zone, above the ceiling and below the world like every other raid mob in the game.

*Have you guys seen the waterfalls in Thunder River? Seriously, it's pretty. We spent 93% of our budget on our art team, go look at the damn thing.

You should all be domed to play a SOE game, they really closes the servers for many hours, seen a 1 hour update take 5 and so on. And so far havn't we seen a rollback in AOC, In EQ2 It happened twice in a year (the year I played, spring 07-spring 08), lost a whole days raiding on it one time.
