You would be surprised how few people care about what you have to say. |

It's a sorry state of affairs in the game industry when we're so used to trolls appearing on forums that people almost took this guy seriously. ;) |

Don't worry about Grey. He's a WoW fanboi. check his post history. Anyway...I don't understand why he wants this game to fail so much. It can only bring good things to the industry if WAR succeeds. It means WoW has to take it up a notch rather than copy paste and make it easy. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Well. From a very trustworth source (*whistle*) I can say that WAR is uglier than WoW were at release, the combat stinks, spell effects are virtually non-existent and characters feels out of place and lit by a source of light I cannot seem to locate. There's good things too, but not even close to be good enough to outweigh these flaws. And trust me, I've given it a chance after quitting WoW a long time ago. Seriously, don't yell WoW fanboy at people when you're either just Mythic fanboys yourselves or are so desperately hoping for WAR to be a good game, that you throw that word around in religious fanaticism. A game released in late 2008, with a crapload of gathered information over the years, can't be allowed to actually be worse than a game released in early 2005. I'd say in pretty much all areas but sheer content (which is hard to compare as it's mostly about taste). Also, saying WoW is a bad game or has a poor community doesn't fit together. It's obviously a good game since so many are playing it, and playing it a lot. This is also why so many youngsters are attracted to it. WAR can easily be considered a pure WoW clone as it's so similar it's spooky. Doesn't matter what Mythic says or anyone says. The only problem is that it's a poor clone so far, and I can't see anything big happening before release. I'm really HOPING for WAR to be a good game as I currently lack one, but testing it made me want to cry, honestly.

You people DO realize that WAR testers have a low-res client? To make sure people with all sorts of specs can test the content, features, etc, instead of having people play with video settings first? Isnt this with most tests as well? Geez. "Skill has not cool downed!" |

You're just like the poster who had to bring politics into it, can't we all just laugh at the idiots and leave the non-funny stuff out of it? Everything creates huge amounts of negativity on the internet, that's what the internet is for: Negativity, porn and lolcats. |

I am guessing your the type of player that is so interested in the trees and grass that you complain about getting killed or walking of a cliff. Get over it. They are freakin trees man. Would you rather they spend another 5 months or another year making every tree different so you feel happy or would rather start playing this friday? |

I think it obviously became sarcasm when he said he is making a petition against this right now. He had me all sorts confused for a second. Finwe on microphones in MMOs: "it'd eliminate l33t speak....But it would bring in ebonics." |

I really worry about some of you people if you ever visit the UK. You will be utterly confused and probably insulted by what 90% of people say to you, as you have zero understanding of humour outside of the realm of American canned laughter sitcom jokes. Amazing. |

Exactly. A large percentage of Brits thought Winston Churchhill was a myth and Sherlock Holmes was real in a recent poll, so ignorance cuts through all cultures as shown by people who find it is easier to make sweeping generalizations about other cultures, because say Americans don't understand sarcasm (come to a blue collar city like Chicago and you'll be swimming in it) then they must only understand lowest common denominator canned laughter. That being said...c'mon obviously a joke thread... |

I'm honored you took the time to track my career. If you really checked my post history though you'd see where more than once I said I hoped war would become what it set out to be--a pvp centered mmo that I'd wished wow had been. I said twice I'd take back every word I said if it ends up being competent in every area and addictive in pvp. You'd also see posts saying I hate the arena system in wow and people living just to upgrade their slots instead of winning in pvp. On the other hand some of us don't mind calling mythic out on things that don't look good and I shouldn't have to blindly support a game just because I'm hopeful and hate another game. I am a fan of blizzard. They create top quality games in whatever catagory they fall in. If you deny that then you discredit yourself. |

a) unbelievable that any one thought this was serious.. I mean, c'mon... b) was not particularly funny c) to the OP - good effort, try again. Your irony was too obvious - this could have been several shades dryer. And make the subject matter a little more absurd. |
