They are testing this new function in game once closed beta 2 starts today, its kind of a shocking function in my opinion. The new stamina function will goes as follows: every day at a given time your given 100 stamina points, 50 stamina points if you are above level 50. Every battle you lose one stamina point. When stamina hits 0 you will no longer be allowed to gain any exp or items though fighting. This is crazy. So that its, in a korean grinder they now tell you you are only allowed 100 battles (battels are like fighting anywhere between 3-9 mobs) per day. After 50 when the grind really starts you now only allowed to have 50 battles. Worst idea ever. I was a huge fan of this game after playing cb1, but after hearing this ive kind of lost some interest, very poor choice on the developers. im sure there is a cash shop item for stamina, very poor choice on the developers doing this. |

Very odd. They say its supposed to create more "depth". I think the players will hate it. But we shall see. |

Step 3 is to let players buy extra turns in the item shop. Congratulations, once all three steps are complete this game will officially be another stereotypical "pay us or we cripple you" free-to-play-but-not-really-free game. |

before they announced the implimentation of this system the official forums were awash with excited and loyal players eager to play.
now the forums are in full scale riot mode. if they dont remove this horrible system the game wont make a dime later on. so far only 2-3 people are eager to try the system out, and one gm who says to try it then give feedback and they will listen (heard that before) so as it looks now, this game will have little to no players come ob, unless this "worst system ever is removed" oh and 100 battles is like the training area + 5 levels, can you imagine what being allowed 50 battles at lv 50+ will do, you get more stamina at 6pm every day, so if you play one day and use all your stamina, you must wait untill 6pm the next day in order to enjoy normal gameplay |

This sounds like a good MMORPG, they can't be serious about ruining it all with such a stupid idea. They're digging their own grave.
Edit: I was checking their website and just bumped into this message: "New feature! Test your stamina!". "Having to watch over this score adds another element for players to manage, bringing more depth to the game". Doesn't seem to justify well, as a new element doesn't necessarily bring "depth" to a game. "Boost your score with a Stamina Drink, obtained from the NPC Pointry located in Rome using Mentor Points." Well, the intentions seem to be good, but if they ever include this in a Cash Shop, I bet 90% of their players will quit. Also, I think they should listen to those who are testing the game, after all, they are testing the system and are going to be their future players as well. Actually I want to see how this will end up. It may be a good idea after all, you never know. At least they're trying to innovate. |

I agree it is a very bad idea but the gm's have stated to the community just to try it out first and if its doesn't work out it wont be implemented. I'll guess will just have to wait and see what happens but i doubt if it will last very long. |

I guess the forum riots broke the web server. Maybe that will get the message across that we aren't happy. =P |

its down for me too... hopefully they are reading our posts and uninstalling their little stamina system. ive never seen such a change of communtiy feelings toward a game in such a short time, i realy hope ndoor gets their act together and adresses this horrible system.
i bet they are wiping the forums, they must have gotten 3k posts complaining about the stamina system in a few hours. . |

No chances are they'll keep their heads in their ***** thinking they're indeed the ones right about this and lose all their players. This topic itself is an example of the damage just the MENTION of the idea has done. Once they start Beta and more than likely keep it. The game will be finished. |

The new Stamina system is a big joke that's going to mess up Atlantica Online completely. It's sad that it has to die out this way. Now we have to waste more time grinding Stamina Points rather than grinding levels or farming for items. This makes no sense at all. |

I will try it, if it fails, i will state so. They had an awesome game the first CB. I think that warrents a chance at this new system. But from what I can tell from what i've read and heard, its going to fail hard. |

what everyone is going to do is when the server open in a few hours, fight 100 battles, log on to the forums and spam for the system to be removed....how are we even suppose to test the high level addons and maps if they limit it to 100 battle per day and only 50 per day at levels 50+ like i said on the official forums, they can either keep the community or keep the stamina system. |

Wow...the one game I really enjoyed and was looking forward to cb2... They must be out of their minds. It takes far more than 100 battles to properly equip yourself and your mercs, not to mention the battles it takes to finish most quests, or the battles needed to lvl up new mercs...and dont even get started on the battles it takes to farm ashen crystals/the cash to buy them. And for them to REDUCE the stam you get at 50, when the real grind will have set in? I smell a stam pot coming soon to the cash shop, followed by a mass exodus, if it hasnt started already. Damn shame, this looked like a keeper. |
