Hey HEY Hey MMORPG Folks

I need to reseach on Dark elves or elf, we all know what we are talking about.

But I want or rather need to know who you ppl expectasions is within the Dark Elf (I call em "Delfs")

Reasons for this, is just in fact by knowing the expectasions, I belive haveing a good portion of the expected and then build up from there would create an MMORPG experience to rule for long time.

Knowledge i need to know: [Dark Elf)

Social structure

Alignment (good vs. evil)

Race looks: How the fuck do they look? :D

-includes clothing and weaponry

Relationship with other races and why.

Expected type of classes to Dark Elf race and WHY!!!

Architecture, building and what areas they inhabit

Religion, if any ???

Factions, Social Groupswithin the Dark Elf race

and more knowledge about the Common Dark Elf

I am s sucker for knowledge, come on tell me what u expect in within the dark elf world

Dark Elves are just black guys who happen to also be Elves.

I'm waiting for an MMO to make "Black Guy" a race.

they NEED TO MAKE A forgotten realms MMO with Drizzt playing a part in it...

Forgotten realms has so much lore and so many places to explore..not to mention races and OMG how cool would it be to walk into Candlekeep as the starting area for an MMO....then be able to travel to places with in the Icewind dales...OMG OMG OMG  i really wish they would make it into an MMO...it really is almost done for them  just need to need to changfe the camara angle and make it soloable.....and not like DDO  hell it could even be DDO just in the Fogotten realms....(the true forgotten realms)

It was not to be in any Particular Lore, just what  you would expect to see.

and that other racist comment there, when you talk about race it has nothing to the colour of skin, but how much the perticular creature resembles its alike. Only some racist game devolper would but black guy in as a race.  AND BTW they are not black they are consentrated brown !! check your biologi on how skin adapts to its sourroundings, thats why they look brown/black cause thier skin tries to protect them.

Good god, now can you tell me what you expect if your are to play Dark Elf in some fantasy mmo please ?

Ahem, yeh, Elfs.

Elfs used to be one, "Just Elfs". Then they started to have opinnions and politics and forums, so they divided into different groups. The old elfs, librarians of kind, only interested of knoveledge and history and tradistions of old, the boring type, conservatives, High Elfs. They got their own bunch of enviromentalists, the Wood Elfs, Green Elfs, Forrest Elfs or WWF Elfs, they're all up to plants weeds and trees, even their toilets are made out of trees and they grow very, very fast. God Blood Elfs, yeh the red ones, they liked to gather some weapons and do some traitorous stuff, maeby murdered a few and thus they were sent elsewhere to live their life in Russia. They're mighty pissed. Seafaring elfs were also known, but as they go along faring the sea they're not known much, but what we know they like blue dragons and hang out in the island east of africa, Lepsos or something.

Now Dark Elfs, they're dark. Many things are said of them in many fantasy books, but basicly they're just mixup of all above, usually living underneath the ground deep in their dungeons. Some sources tell me that DElfs worship somekind of Spider Queen God, keep spider as their holy animal and eat spiders on x-mas. Same source also says they like daggers, skimittars, and other pointy, murderous devices to kill each other for no real reason. They're divided into clans, that fight each other in utterly unimportant powerplay, but they seem to like it so much most of them dont even know what is beyond (well above) their deep dungeons. Those that come all the way up and away from down there, and actually travel, they do it only to kill villagers in some outskirt towns and steal their babies to avoid inbreeding mutations. And when they're up there, they also kill each others and all that they may have once called allies. Pretty much like Americans.

Dark elfs see in Dark. They worship god that can be killed. Summon demons. Can cast sphere of darkness on others. They like daggers and murdering, mostly from behind. Most of them live under mathriarchal law, where mom tells them what to do. But in the end, they're just those elfs who didn't want to play along with others.

As they're not real, and exist in so many different forms, I don't think anyone expects the same.

In general though, elves are slender, quick, dextrous, and dark elves are their "evil twin".

Pointy ears also seems to be a must. They're usually into magic of some sort, be it arcane or nature-ishy

From there everyone seem to have their own interpretation. Sometimes they love nature, sometimes they don't care for it. Sometimes the dark elves are black, other times they're the same skin colour as the normal ones. Sometimes dark elves have a matriarchical (that a word..?) society, sometimes not.

It wouldnt be fun to if i didnt do it myself, now would it ??

In general terms pesky evil or amoral. They do only what is best forthemselves or thiers

Elven figure and then skin colours are grey, dark and pure black. Companioned with red eyes

and offc. either white or grey hair. Grey Blood went to my mind

Thne to classes, I would guess they would have something to do with Necromancy, Demonology and dak/shadow magic in general, but also warriors aswell maybe archers. Thieves class and such maybe ?

They live in drim dark creepy places, my thoughts went on a swamp and such

For an social structure i thought of Anarchy with a Queen in power and such

yeah, i think thats just about what i would expect from a dark elf race

What lore are you looking at is the question ?

are you looking for specific game lore ? if so i would suggest reading Dungeons and Dragons based games for thats what most of them come from these days.  And to most myths they are known as Drow elves. 

As for actual lore in real myths and legends.  Goblins, Trolls, And ELVES. were all types of  Fairies.,......... So if you want real lore to look up i would suggest looking up  Fae, and Fairy folk.  As they are Faries........
