An Overview of Darklore

Before we get into the details about recruitment and such, let's look at an overview about what Darklore is really about!

Darklore is a mature, casual role-playing guild dedicated to battling the forces of Order in Warhammer Online. We promote a friendly atmosphere, with the hope of building a bond with each other that will last for years to come. We have a solid mix of casual and hardcore players and flexibly cater to both playstyles.

Membership & Participation
We are looking for mature people to join the ranks of Darklore. We want people who love to play MMO's and want to have fun while playing them! We encourage the use of Ventrilo for our guild events and general verbal communication as well as IRC/forums for out-of-game communication. We encourage our members to be as active as they can to help progress their character and the guild.

While we have members who are considered "hardcore" players, we realize there are more important things in life than Warhammer. We want our members to enjoy themselves while they are immersing themselves in WAR, but don't forget to enjoy your real life as well. With our mixture of casual and hardcore players, you are bound to make friends and find guildmates that share your interests and playtimes.

Recruitment Process

Recruitment is currently open to anyone 17+ years of age. Applying is simple;

1.) Register on our forums.
2.) Familiarize yourself with our application format.
3.) Post your application.

One of our Recruitment Officers will review your application and if it is found to be fit for processing, we will start your trial period as we welcome you to the forums. After that we will upgrade your forum rank. This will enable you access to additional forum sections that will allow you to get to know the guild better and allows the guild to get to know you better as well.

Hey didn't you guys branch from the Acolytes back around AoC launch?  I was a member over there and I think a lot of great people went over to make Darklore.  Is Arkane and Baelzar with you guys?  I would be interested in rolling Destruction on a server with you guys at launch.  I think a good bit of the members may remember me.  Forum name was the same.

Why yes, we were originally a branch of the Acolytes. Different conflicts of interest led us to seperate and create our own guild. Arkane left to make his own dwarf-only clan (he was really subtle about leaving) and Baelzar is still with us however.

I think some of us definitely remember ya :) Arkane left quietly (as Tox said) to join a Dwarf only guild, but Bael is still with us. Feel free to drop by our forums, even though activity has died off a bit as most of the active base is in beta.
