Aion will be released End 2008 in Korea, and 3 Month's after that in Europe / NA / USA. So Q1 of 2009!

Amazon.com has it listed for release on October 30 2008.  That's not official of course.  It's also pretty optimistic, so take it as you will.

At my bad attempt at humour I mistyped the predicted release date.

NCSoft Europe has been stating that Q1 2009 will be the expected time period that Aion will be released.

It's not a matter of not trusting Amazon, just that the date may change since there has been no North American release date given by NCsoft.  I certainly hope Amazon is right.  i just see that 1st Quarter of 2009 date a lot, even in this thread, is all.

They're supposed to release some info on August 18th I believe, hopefully that includes a firm release date.

We are targeting Aion's launch for 2009.  I cannot give any specifis beyond that.  Once a date has been set, announcements will be made on the official US and EU Aion websites.  The date mentioned on Amazon is incorrect.

Funny thing is that you don't put any money down for a pre-order with Amazon. They can't charge your credit card unless they have the item in hand and ship it. That's how it works in the US.
