Pay to play, don''t pay to replay!

Because many people asked about the validity of the key found in the retail box still buyable on some shop, I received this answer from a Ryzom CSR:

At the moment, box keys will upgrade free trial accounts to full accounts, but do not entitle you to VIP entry.

In addition, you cannot create an account directly from a box code, but at the moment that's not an issue because account creation is disabled.

 

Basically, the Key will be honored, once the game will be reopened fully to the public. It's not valid to enter the VIP early access.

So, once the game will be opened and the account creation will be reactivated, you'll have just to create a trial account and then upgrade the account with the key to became a full account.

Thanks alot for this! My retail box just arrived today.

 

Does anyone have any clue when they will open account creation again? Really want to get it tried out.
