There is one jackass on this and I don't know his name...........Exanimus has been in Pre-Production, Gameplay has been talked about and is still undecided when it is ready to begin production it will have a firm idea. The developers for this game aren't "New" they have worked on several other MMO games. If you read their posts they tell you what they have done previously. As for the concept Art it is once again pre production. You sir must be one of those "After 2 years WoW is so polished" kind of guys who didn't play WoW at launch and knew how much of a Clusterf*ck that was. Exanimus is Pre-Production and seems very very fun. As for the PvP aspect there will be servers (Said by developers) that will have a Hardcore Diablo II style as in if you play as a human and are killed by a zombie player you turn slowly but surely into one of them. |

Well whatever, but someone needs to make a zombie apocalypse survivalist sandbox MMOG... like, right now. ------------------------- |

This game would NEVER work in an MMO, only a single person RPG.
If you want to play a 'zombie' MMO, just play any MMO RPG out with orcs and dorks. Find the obligatory undead area, never leave. WIN!

A zombie mmo could work, but I would only be interested if it was in the George A. Romero style. The game would be about scavenging for limited supplies with the other human players, looters, criminals, and what is the left of the establishment, being as much a threat as the zombies. You could choose to play various archetypes; escaped convict, police officer, truck driver etc. A great crafting system as you have make good out of disposable objects. A LOT - and I mean a LOT - of soloability with the emphasis on pvp rather than pve. You could form small alliances/guilds with other players - a biker gang, a religious community etc. Fighting other players over bottles of water or ammo lol. Would be ace. You might have some cities or trade-posts like in Land of Dead, but these should be a rare exception the game. My personla feeling is that small pockets of survivors is required to keep the sense post-apocalyptic isolation and remain true to the spirit of the other 4 Romero zombie films. Would love to play this game one day, but would hate it if they lost Romero's vision and thematic focus. Regards Melmoth |

Originally posted by melmoth1 QFT. Also the NPC "Bad Guys" mobs don't need to be just various zombies either. You could have everything from crooked cops to biker gangs to crazy mutant hill people. It could work, and work quite well if you just use your imagination. Anyways, getting OT...

For anyone that wants to actually play a zombie “MMO” that’s in development then try this one. Also the post apocalyptic MMO Fallen Earth that recently entered public alpha/beta has zombies in it, and one of the convention video’s previously released shows some zombie themed game play from the games starting area I believe. |
