Blizzard has announced the launch of the Latin American version of World of Warcraft, and they will be holding several events in Mexico on Friday and through the weekend.

The Latin American Spanish version of World of Warcraft launched today in Mexico, Chile, and Argentina. Players can now purchase the localized version of the game and play on dedicated Spanish-language realms. Existing players can also download language packs to convert their installation, and can transfer characters to the new realms. Useless server since most of the "latin Americans" players are from Brazil( south Americans ) :/   ... and even speak spanish.

A brasilian server would be a better choice( hehehhe ... I live in Brazil and 350ms+ latency kills me ), because almost 3 helms r full of Brazilian people and even get a warning for portuguese speach in the general chats( I play in Warsong server and did never see a single warning msg ).

Nope.... most of the latin american players aren't from brazil and that's a fact  known now by those like me who are playing ragnaros. For others latin american servers, here a small review of this sever.

The life

During the morning Ragnaros is pretty much lifeless., this is not a surprise since most of us (latin american players) are 18+ yr old and we actually work @ morning. From 12:00pm Server time, the server starts to gain life and is just much crowed as any other "medium" server, even if it says low. Maybe is just that we play more, while the people from the states are more but play less?..

The Community

The community simply pwns. Sorry Andorhal and burning blade, I have good memories, but this community is just way better and is something that each server should imitate. I could tell you that pugs of all kind here are way better, to the point that yesterday we did 5 instances (heroic): Botanica, Mechanar, Durnholde, Black Morass and Steamvaults.... with the same group and we were not guildmates. Sadly we have to deal with our own jerks too, maybe less... but good as the ones with had to dealt with in Andorhal, burning blade, etc.

People from the states in Raganaros...

Yeah , there are a few people from the states who are trying to learn spanish, this is amazing... and is really fun to help them out. I remember playing with a paladin 70, who said that he wanted to learn spanish and every time he didn't understand a word...  como significa "put word here"... as way to says what means " "? (que significa)... Is really amazing.

Raid and more...

Well there are guilds raiding everything: Karazhan, Zul'Aman, MAG/Gruu, SSC/MH... BT/SP. So far the most advanced guild, just killed M'uru.
