I am surprised by how close the poll is between Obama and McCain. Figure it would be a land slide for Obama. May be this will be a close race after all. "War is cruelty. There is no use in refining it. The crueler it is, the sooner it is over." |

That would be Obama
yeah...sorry but I don't know very many Christians that think that Partial birth abortion is all that Christ-like.
The Media doesnt follow Obama because they are for him, they follow Obama and then they chant "Lets see if he screws up.." This is such a state of denial that I can't even believe I'm reading it. Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced. |

NEW YORK TIMES, July 25th 2008 But now the administration’s agreement to consider a “time horizon” for troop withdrawals from Iraq has moved it, at least in the public perception, in the direction of the policies of Senator Barack Obama . That has thrown Mr. McCain on the political defensive in his opposition to a timed withdrawal, Republicans in the party’s foreign party establishment say. Currently Playing: 3ds Max 2009 |

He didn't vote for it but he did vote to not ban it. Do you feel a woman has the right to decide whats best for her without interference from the government? I won't be voting for either McBush or Obama. Both parties are not looking out for the American people and/or the Constitution. Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL! |

John McCain is a lucky moron who won his party's nomination due to a series of unfortunate events. In the same year that the Democrats chose between the first major Female candidate and the first major African-American candidate, the Republicans went with their oldest, whitest candidate. Make no mistake about it, no one in the upper echelons of the Repug party think McCain is going to win, his sole purpose at this point is to take the fall and bring down Obama just enough that Repugs won't take such a hit down-ticket. Also, bear in mind that McCain is a tool. I used to think the guy was okay when he stuck to his moderate positiions, but in his lust to become President he's pandered and relented to every conservative neo-nazi hatemongering idgit with any sway over party politics. Ralph Nader is a narcissist who is too full of himself to realize his time has passed. Bob Barr is actually a decent candidate who left his own party to stick to his ideals. Unfortunately that means he has no chance of winning. Barack Obama is intelligent and charismatic and well-spoken. Obviously horrible qualitiies in a President if our current Moron-In-Chief is the shining example. Anyone who says they don't know enough about Obama hasn't done their homework. Not that knowing a lot about "Leave my first family and marry a hot rich blonde McCain" somehow makes him a better candidate. Seriously, the American people need a wake-up call. ---------- |

That describes anyone of these men. It is so easy to get the nomination by one of the major parties for President isn't it? I think they are all intelligent. If you don't like McCain just say why other than calling him a lucky moron. That is such a copout remark. Not to mention that your implying the Republican party is raciest? So people should choose and or agree with Obama simply because he is black? Pfft, whatever..

Obama is none of those things when he is trying to talk off the cuff...He simply can't do it.
You think that Bush sucks at public speaking? Try listening to Obama give anything but an extremely rehearsed speach where nobody interrupts him and nobody asks any questions, it's absolutely painful to watch. I believe that this is why Obama has been avoiding any kind of debate with McCain, because he knows taht he'll be exposed as a contrived wad of well rehearsed bullshit Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced. |

As for avoiding Debates, I promise you there will be a Presidential Debate on September 26, October 7, and October 15 pretty much as usual. I actually look forward to the debates. John McCain did horribly in the Republican Primary debates with lines like "I'll follow Osama bin Laden to the gates of Hell!" (just not Pakistan apparantly). It will be interesting to see the direct juxtaposition of McCain and Obama during the debates. I have a feeling it will make McCain look as good as he looked in front of that green backdrop. That is the first damned thing we have EVER agreed with together, Korusus! lol But all seriousness aside, I believed Obama was joking too....however, he should have said something...like a witty comment or a sly smile or something after the comment. |

yeah, and when Kerry called the troops stupid he was actually making a joke about Bush.
how about when Obama said that his grandfather was there for the liberation of Auschwitz? How about When he was calling Sioux falls, Sioux City? or when he called an asthma inhaler a "breathalizer", and then an "inhilator"
It wasn't a joke, he's just a poor speaker when talking off the cuff, and has a nasty habit of making shit up and getting caught...It's almost like he is taking notes from every other politician to ever run for president...Obama is not "different" he will not bring "change" he is the same as every other man who has ever run for president, except he's a socialist.
note: Obviously Obama knows that there aren't 57 states, I'm not saying that he is so stupid to not know that we have only 50...but to say that it was a joke, and not just a verbal misstep, is pretty naive...Why would he make a joke like that? it's not funny, there is no punchline nobody gets it...that's not a joke, that's just him talking when it's not rehearsed and orchestrated. Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced. |
