I was told by a friend that if you create a trial account for Eve Online that there is an option in game to buy gametime cards with the in game money (isk I think it is.)

My questions are...

How much does 1 game card cost with the in game money?

Can you buy them with in game money on a trial account without buying the game for 20 bucks?

 Considering you answered both my questions, and they were the answers I was looking for, you helped tons.

Also, I am currently doing missions on my new trail account and was wondering if there was a corp out there that helps nubs like myself make money to get that 350mill mark.

Doubtful...  thats a lot of ISK to throw out to a new player

I meant more along the lines of teaching me how to run my setup good enough to make that in my trail period.

There are corps that help out new players, though you may need to check out the recruitment channels to find the right fit for you.

EvE revolves a lot around making friends and sticking to that group in one way or another since trust is a commodity. I doubt you'll get people to donate that much isk to you only due to the fact that you are still a trial account player, and even if you subscribe most poeple need time before they would trust giving you isk in any meaningful quantity.

Its mainly due to the fact that the majority of players will ignore any nw player asking for isk and for them there is no way to tell that you are simply an alt player looking for isk to transfer to your main.

My best advice is to pay the $20 and play for the 30 free days. Look for a good and helpful corp that fits your needs and as you go you'll learn ways to make the isk you need to maintain your account through in-game currency. There are TONS of helpful poeple out there and many corps do help out the rookie pilots get a foothold in the game.

Thats the thing, it costs nothing to get, just forthe time cards

It takes a while to make that kind of isk on a consistent basis to pay for your gametime.  In general, you'd need to run lots and lots of level 3 missions to make that kind of isk, and marginally less lvl 4 missions.  Alternatively, you can mine, but that takes a lot of time to skill up as well, and you'll be weak and easy prey for pkers as on average the only lucrative mining is done in lower security zones.

In all, I'd say you'll have to play for at least six months, if not more, to be able to skill up enough to make that kind of isk on a consistent basis.  Even then, that means that you'll be grinding isk to pay for gametime rather then purchasing more skills, ship equipment, etc, which would in effect set you behind the curve.

You can increase your money making potential by joining a corp and participating in missions and mining runs at a faster pace, but don't expect isk handouts.  I'm not saying you were expecting handouts, but in general most corps may buy you a ship or two and expect you to advance on your own afterwards.
