Here is my final VG player profile. Seems I ran out of Victims to exploit. Anyway, I bid you all farewell here on the VG forums, I'm move on. VG has a solid future ahead of it but I'm afraid for myself, it is not compelling enough to stick with and I'm not to keen on paying a monthly sub on "maybe some day". I wish you all luck, have fun and it was a pleasure gaming with you guys in Nasty Habits.

VG didn't take the game to level they could have. They have all the features and toys but none of it has any teeth so to speak. A PvE based game needs to have exeptional PvE content and unfortunately VG went the route of most modern MMO's, drab ol' kill task / bone collecting task for the mostpart. Asherons Call still remains the PvE model to beat IMHO. The only games I (individually) have run across with truely vibrant communities are EVE, L2, and DAoC back in the day. (AC mainly bacause it was only 1 of 3 MMO's back in the day)

Yeah, after 4 level 50 toons and being their from the start,i have moved on as well. It`s a good game but i am and always have been a pvp type person ,hence my time with DAOC. I am in the WAR beta and its working out great. I was on the halgar server and still have 13plat, 3 ships and 2 houses across 4 toons..lol, don`t no what i am going to do with that but i wont be back. |
