So i have a 13 champ and a 12 Guard and 13 Hunter. I dont play weekends, just during the week.

I love this game.

I have read the series 3 times, read the Silmarillion and  Hobbit a few times and have the some of the Histories. I am all about the lore and i gotta say, giving this game a year off was the best thing i hav e done. I tried it at beta, and hated it. Nothing worked for me. But , after a year this game now does all the simple things i wanna do online. I can explore. I kill orcs , goblins and other middle earth enemys. I can roll a middle earth elf, hobbit, dwarf or human. I can play Tolkien.

Thank you Turbine for bring Tolkien's world to the readers!

Glad i gave it a year. Maybe i'll try this waiting a year strategy with another game soon due from mythic.

Now... Should i go with the Hunter, Champ or Guardian? I Loved my Guard for some reason..

I am on Lan and would love to find a Kin.

Thanks for all the insight ,

Cheers!

I must say i dotn fully agree, Hunter is more the guy with a heavy machine gun that deals carzy damage but often grabs aggro and gets yelled at by the grp.

Dont really play champ, but they are the mele dps class.

And guard is the wall that keeps the minstrel's lil ass safe.

If you are looking for a char thats more simple to play I'd say go champion, less trouble and no watch your aggro or getting yelled at for when agrro switches to the dps peeps.

Guardian is alot of fun to play and you will have an easier time to find grous at later levels as a Guard!

At lvl 20 (I think) you will get the Overpower stance that increases your DPS alot with 2-hand weapon and makes killing mobs much faster! Maybe you should lvl all 3 to 20 before you decide if you are uncertain!

Glad you enjoy the game :)

I agree - guardian is fun to play :) With the overpower stance and a purple 2H axe my dwarf was massacring equal level mob left and right - leveled from 30 to 35 in 3 days :) and I don't play more then 3 hours a day max.

I gotta say that leveling all 3 to 20 is not outta the question. I am enjoying the Guard. I took a Elf for it though.. is that a poor race choice? I choose Elven because (gasp) i wanted to be one, not for the stats , go figure. So far so good.

My guardian is an Elf aswell and i know severall lvl 50 elf guards and they have no problem tanking so dont worry :)

In LotrO you wont be punished for playing what you want and how you want! (in most cases atleast)
