I would characterize this as a lower to medium end card.

How do you think it would run Vanguard on a core 2 quad q6600 with 4 gigs of ram?

The 9500, much like the 8500 and 7500 is >>>NOT<<< a gammer card, it is primarily used for dual screening or buisness applications.

For insance an 8600 will run circles around a 9500 and a 8800 will be MUCH better.  with you system do not skimp out on the card.  Get you a good 8800 GTS (512) or even a ATI 4850 for the same price.

I play with this card and similar specs and the game runs fine.  You will not get super fast FPS, but I get 20 fps in the forest and 15 fps in the city with medium-high settings.  Sometimes in NT I get a little bogged down so I usually stick to smaller cities like Tanvu and such.

Like the previous poster stated, it's not a gaming card, but plays this game just fine as long as you are not a max setting hog.

Hope that helps.
