Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

my vanguard buddy key ended, i have purchased the full retail key waiting for this day, i enter the new 30 day key it said activation successful. when i check my subscription it still says it is "CLOSED". cant log in, tried to renter key(says key already in use), the freaking place is closed on the weekends, WTF I WANT TO PLAY VANGUARD!!! can you not update subscriptions on the weekend, i hope this is the case, very upset. the better fix my freaking account monday. does anyone know how it works?

What happened with me is I entered my key in, it said succesful, but I couldn't find my credit card, so I left it a day, then got an email the next day (it might have been sooner, i went to bed) saying they had opened my account.

But if you've entered your credit card details I'd have thought your account would be open, no matter what day.

You need to put your payment details to play a mmo .....

Thank you very much for easing my tension.  i didnt have credit card info entered when i typed in the key.  i entered it after the fact it didnt activate thinking that may be the problem. i am glad someone else has experienced this too, now i know it is typical. I will look out for the eamil, probably wont get it till monday since they are closed on the weekends.

no.....they give a complimentary free month which just requires you to put in your CD key (providing it's new and legitimate etc)

I doubt you'll have to wait too long, it should be an automated email, so you could get it any time, probably faster if you're in US ;)

If I were you i'd just wait it out, or if you are like me, constantly try logging in until you succeed =p

(I don't recommend the latter)

Write a support ticket at the support pages.

I forgot to move one of my charcters before i quit and just recently come back when I cancled and uninstalled AOC. I asked if i could get him moved and within 2 days, he was moved and a nice welcome back form the head dev for that area.

It's pretty much the same process with all MMO's.

You get 30 days free, but you still must put in your credit card details upon activating a new account.

no you don't......

as i've just said,

I haven't entered any credit card details and I'm on my 30 free days.
