Ok, now I am aware I represent a small minority of the players here, but does it seem like Funcom has removed the FFA part of PvP for the server?

You're not allowed to lock-down spawns with your guild anymore (24 hour suspension for all involved)

You can't PK someone while they are talking to an NPC (24 hour suspension)

You can't repeatedly kill lower level players (24 hour suspension)

Now, I had to go through my share of getting ganked when I came up, and yes, it's a pain in the ass. But it's also part of what I signed on for, and I knew what I was getting into.

I'm posting this because I'm just fed up with these policies. A GM can't talk to me, or give us any prior warning. They can't answer petitions in a timely manner, and even when they do answer them, they aren't helpful half the time. But lo and behold, they're quick to ban you from the forums for asking a question, and happy to suspend your account without even issuing a warning to you first. A simple email explaining why you were suspended; that's the courtesy you receive for your monthly fees.

I'm just about out of nice things to say about this game, and it's a bad sign when the people who are PAID to be neutral have a hard time balancing the pro's with the cons.

Get it together Funcom.

Oh I'm sure it's still FFA you just have to play nice *snicker*. Don't pick on the little brats of course (low level players) because mommy Funcom will punish you!

Meh...those are all asshat moves that I don't do to other players, so I'll have nothing to worry about.

While all of those things might have happened to you on the way up, doesn't mean you can't be bigger than that and rise above the filth.

But whatever... I thought you already canceled your sub.

I don't think devs know what Free-For-All means anymore.  Until someone defines the rules associated within the MMO genre, i don't think we'll ever know.

The only thing that should be banned is talking to npc's I think that is the most weakest thing you can do is attack someone talking to npc's i think they should make the guards near the npc's that can actually defend the area. I think lineage 2 had it right with there set up. Now that was fun stuff

It's still ffa pvp...you can kill anyone you want whenever you want.  Your actions may have consequences, but its still possible to do.  As a matter of fact, RL is ffa in a way, you could run around killing anyone you want but once again, it comes with a price.

reading this I wonder if you have even played the game.

I've had all those things done to me, get them all the time. even though I dont see how you could want them. No I didn't report the players, its FC's fault imo. if they don't want spawn camping/killing players talking to NPC's then they should put systems in place to stop it. not surprise attack ban their customers. they ARE putting systems in place (fugitive system) that will allow all of these activaties, put also make there consequences for these nooby tactics.
