MMORPG Character Monuments ...When its time for your character to take a well deserved rest... |
HOw many hits should it take to kill an opponant. Obviously the vast majority of players think being 1 or 2 shotted is too little. So, where would you put the PvP sweet spot for Hits to kill an opponant. Note that most casters have 3000ish hp at lev 80 and guardians have 7000ish (HP numbers based on the AoC PvP Guide) |

I'd say 4-5 for a clothie, 5-6 for the light armor classes, 7-8 for the medium, 9-10 for the heavies, 12 for the full plate.
At the very least, that would make it seem as though armor actually did it's job. |

Define shot... some combos hit 10+ times... so that would be 10 shots? Or do you mean 10 combos... I would love to see a level 80 hit 6 combos in a reasonable amount of time.. that fight would take 10 years to finish. |

I would define a combo as 1 shot, if all you have to do is activate one ability (no matter how many directional combos you need to activate) its one 'shot' |

If thats with the opposition just standing there, not healing or potting, then I would say preferably 2 points up on what Cymdai says. As a TOS I can whip out around 4k of damage in 15 seconds - ish |
